Beyond Impeachment: Obama Treasonous over Benghazi
pjmedia ^ | October 29, 2012 | Roger L Simon

Is it treason when you put your own reelection above the good of your country and the lives of its citizens? If so, Barack Obama committed treason in leaving the four Americans to die in Benghazi.

Our Constitution defines it this way: “Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”

Aid and comfort to the enemy — what is that?

When you ascribe an action to the protest of a video when it is actuality a planned terror attack by Ansar al-Shariah, an established offshoot of al-Qaeda (if that’s not your “enemy,” then who) — and you knew that all along, you watched it live without doing anything, and then you told those who wanted to help to “stand down”? Meanwhile, our government may have been conspiring to arm another offshoot of al-Qaeda in Syria.

How much more treasonous can you get? Benedict Arnold was a piker.

Indeed, the discussion of Benghazi has just begun. And don’t be surprised if the conversation escalates from impeachment to treason very quickly. In fact, if Obama wins reelection you can bet on it. The cries of treason will be unstoppable. Not even if the mainstream media will be able to deny them.

I don't believe it is possible to convict Obama of treason without inside testimony,...

His statement to Dmitri Medvedev that he "I need more space ... I'll have more flexibility after the next election" should have been enough to have him impeached, removed from office, tried for treason and hanged.

And that process should have already been completed.

>>I’m at the point now where I seriously believe 0 is an alQaeda operative, that his insertion into American politics and into the White House was a long-shot plan that’s paying off big-time for his team.

anyone that studies his policies, actions, and background for any length of time will conclude that he is a plant for the opposing team. He may have been groomed so well even he isn’t aware of it. If he’s not the AntiChrist I tremble at the thought of what the real one will be like after experiencing the last 4 years under his reign.

This is just another reason Obama should have been impeached.Instead of following his oath to defend this countries constitution,he’s violating it everyday with impunity and the Congress;both parties are negligent because they’re allowing him to get away with it.

As angry as I get over this subject I can’t put any blame on Mitt Romney because he has NO legal authority to hold Obama accountable to the laws and the oath he(Obama)swore to upon his inauguration.

All he can do is bring this to the attention of the public and hope they’re listening.

And the MSM (obedient comrade Candy Crowley) shut him down the second he tried to do just that.

Excellent point. The Romney surrogates should be getting out this info 24/7. “Obama left 41 people to die, and our SEALs rescued 37, in spite of being ordered by Obama to ‘stand down’.”

When the One made the decision to use our air assets to overthrow the Libyan goverment from who did we seek permission to enter sovereign airspace? After the overthrow, when did we recognize a new goverment? Who exactly was the leader of that new goverment and was the president in communication with him/them? Was there a AC130 gun ship on station? Who was the crew and why are they not in front of Congress testifying? Just questions I have.

One point that is missing from all the talk about this (and other events) that have come to our knowledge since the beginning of this administration is the ineptitude of the last and present elected (so called, but absent) officials.

And yes I mean the 545 members of the congress & senate who haven't done jack sh!t to hold anyone accountable, not Issa and his silly assed "dog & pony show, or Holder, Napolatano, Corzine, the big banks, Goldman & Sacks, BofA, Leamam Brothers....

None of them. You get that POS Graham from SC screaming on the house floor, about the NDAA and "You don't get a lawyer, shut up"...

The State Department allowing visa's for the underware bomber at the request of some agency that is tracking him.

Give me a frickin brake.

And I am a potential terrorist because I spent 20 years in the military, and have worked overseas.

Just bloody unreal!

“Who/where are those 30+ people? Hear/see anything of them?”

Good question. Maybe (dare we hope?) that they’re making ads for/with GOP PACs even as we speak. This election’s version of Swiftboat — on steroids.

A kick-ass SuperPAC ad in battleground states: “Yes; we heard radio conversations between the SEALs and the White House. The SEALs were told to ‘stand down’ and not attempt to rescue others. They decided to attempt rescues anyhow. We could see and hear military aircraft overhead but they did nothing to help us or the SEALs. It was terrifying. Why did the President want us to die there?”

Actually, he (and quite a few others) have been mentioning it the only place they can't be shut down - in the social media.

A tweet from him yesterday - Obama called the SEALS and they got Bin Ladin / The SEALS called Obama and they got ignored.

We've been trying to put pressure on the MSM to discuss it....and it IS working. Personally, my account's blocked by all of them since I've been harrassing them incessantly about running 'fluff' pieces instead of reporting the NEWS.

Unfortunately, that's preaching to the choir (his followers). Case in point : our daughter came to visit this weekend. Social media junkie, she is. I reminded her and her boyfriend of the importance of voting this election. She responded by telling me she doesn't know who she is going to vote for. After picking myself up off the ground, I asked her how she could even consider voting for Obama after Benghazi. Her response? "Benghazi what? What's that?"

Now, I'll be the first to admit she's not up on current events but she had no idea of what's been going on. She watches the news and why haven't they told her any of this? Finally, her father said, "you go ahead and vote for Obozo if you want me to have to close the business and stop funding your lifestyle." Sadly, she'll probably still vote for Obozo because he's urban and he's cool. Puke. At least our sons are huge Romney fans and supporters.

Oh, just as you would expect, they have been on talks shows, news programs and speaking tours continuously since the event.

Where have you been?

His statement to Dmitri Medvedev that he "I need more space ... I'll have more flexibility after the next election" should have been enough . . .

Should. Obama's statements on spreading the wealth around, on those who cling to God and guns, and on fundamentally transforming America should have been enough to keep him from ever entering our White House. Clinton's lies under oath should have been enough to have him impeached and removed from office too, but the Dems don't believe in the rule of law. Democrats will close ranks around their own just to "win", even if that means America loses. I'll settle for removing Obama from office through the ballot box - if we can keep leftist voter fraud under control.

Unfortunately, that's preaching to the choir (his followers).

True, but short of snatching reporters up by their bluetooths and forcing them to report on something, that's about all he can do. Like I said though, we are having an impact....it only takes a small crack to eventually bring down the dam.

-----

Her response? "Benghazi what? What's that?"

Sadly, a lot of folks are that way. Until it's in-their-face broadcasts from the MSM for a certain amount of time, it's not 'important'.

Hey, at least you have conservative sons!

We have 18 year old twin girls. They both know if I'm in the room and the O-hole comes on TV, SOMEBODY better switch it fast before Momma goes off! :-)

One twin is highly conservative, and the other has more liberal views. She (fortunately?) also has a liberal attitude....apathetic to the point I just want to poke her. So, if she doesn't want to bother voting (particularly since I don't know how she'd vote) I'm not going to make her.

Not that it really matters much either way here in Texas.

“a gun that C Herradge said had a plate that has to be set in the daylight in order to use the gun.”

IRRC, our folks were under mortar fire. Mortars have a base plate with a socket, the “tube” (mortar barrel) has a ball on the end which fits in this socket.

Mortar crews can set up & fire at night. It helps if their aiming stakes are set in daylight, but it is not essential. In the case of Benghazi, the aiming stakes could have been specific points in the neighborhood with a flashlight, oil lamp or glow stick attached which were visible from the mortar.

Night firing is no problem, if you have a forward observer calling in adjustments to the strike of the rounds, a Fire Direction guy to set up & read the “whiz wheel” (manual circular calculator) and a light to read the sight on the tube.

ESPECIALLY if you have nothing bigger that rifle fire coming back at you! Set the mortar up in a pit or a walled courtyard and you just keep dropping rounds down the tube, walking them onto the target.
