The balancing act between campaigning and dealing with a natural disaster the week before a presidential election is a vexing one, considering there's no precedent for it. MIAMI media just announced this...and you could just HEAR the depression in the "reporter"'s voice.
Of course, where I work out, they have ALL the local stations available....NONE OF THEM have said anything about Mitt Romney coming to the University of Miami on Wednesday.....
Every time Obama came to UM this year, there were media orgasms....we saw stories about people waiting in line for tickets, we saw extended blathering about Obama on the "speeches" he gives to the students, AND we sometimes even see fawning treatment given to the restaurant Obama visits for a "local" burger....

I guess he has to board up the white house huh? Could use his man purse to tote some nails or screws as well. Or, maybe he’s ordering a hit on the gee haddies in Libya so he can claim he took care of it. Eight days. Vote and pray that we can put some closure to this disaster. Pray for our friends in the northeast too. A lot of them have no clue how to deal with what’s about to hit them. Heard that VA and NJ beaches are already getting flooded. Downtown NYC could really take a hit if the tides are “right” with 6 to 11 ft of storm surge on top. Good luck all and God bless.

It’s very important that he’s in the situation room so he can deny requests for help.
Obama will hunker down and try and look useful through Halloween, maybe get out for one last push through Ohio, Iowa, Wis, Michigan and Pa this Thursday through election day. His campaign knows Florida, Va, NC, and Co is gone. He has to sweep most of the rust belt and win NV, MN and NH, which he will not do. This is going to be a laugher, Fox will call the race by 11pm. Biggest joke will be how off the polls were about Ohio, 3% + win for Romney.
He ought to just instruct everyone to “stand down.” That’s more in line with Obama’s style of management.
This storm is not optimal.

Radio saying Obama making a heroic effort to stay in DC and not campaign or go golfing, BUUUTTTT, he can do nothing about emergency action because that is TOTALLY up to GOVERNORS and MAYORS. Gee, I didn’t hear about this when George Bush was blamed for doing nothing when the GOVERNOR and the MAYOR couldn’t tell him what they needed. Must be, (from the Benghazi attack, etc) OBAMA HATES AMERICANS!
Obama wasted taxpayer momney flying to Florida. The only resaon he went back is because it didn’t look good to campaign when there is a horrible perfect storm hitting the east coast.
Remember, he didn’t care who was killed in Libya, he went to Vegas.
Or, he could exhibit he messianic prowess by standing on the Atlantic shore, hold up his private copy of the Quran and order the ocean to subside.................
Saw the Weather Channel interrupt themselves yesterday to play AUDIO ONLY “Live from FEMA HQ” with Fraud Hussein stuttering and stammering about the Hurricane and how he’s all about keeping track of it.
Guessing wherever the president is, is “FEMA HQ”, and he wasn’t dressed appropriately enough to show, or was busy at the holes or at a party.
