Curfew Enacted For East Haven

The Cosey Beach area of East Haven was one of the worst hit areas of the state during Tropical Storm Irene and city officials issued mandatory evacuations for residents within the two blocks of the shore as Hurricane Sandy approaches.

Prayers for a good friend who has a house in Cozy Beach. The house survived Irene with minimal damage, but saw it on the news tonight and things look much worse!! She had just repaired some of the damage from Irene when this happened.
(Cozy Beach is right on LI Sound, for those not from the area.)

Heard from my sister in FL, said he husband, my BIL, saw flooding going on in Old Lyme via CNN.
