Has God Sided With Mitt Romney? (Vanity)

Here's a little angle to the Hurricane Sandy story that might not be noticed when they are analyzing the effect the storm could have on the November 6th elections.

A lot of folks in the Northeast are going to be without power this week and possibly next, especially in some important swing states like Pennsylvania and Virginia and perhaps even impacting Ohio.

Without electricity, many people will choose to stay in their homes or dank emergency shelters. Without working televisions, they'll drag out the extra blankets and fire up the furnace or the fireplace while they listed to the RADIO for news and emergency updates.

Yes, radio. Many homes still have some battery-powered radios, some attached to emergency flashlights, with which they will listen attentively since the batteries on their laptops and cell phones won't function very long without recharging.

Some undecideds and even a few frustrated liberals will sit through shows like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham and possibly hear, for the first time, about stories the mainstream media has ignored or pooh-poohed and could inspire a few of them to not vote for four more years of Obama. Even if they are just miffed enough to not vote at all, that's probably a win for Romney.

Further, there are close Senate races in some of the Northeast states which might get helped by a week of otherwise busy voters listening to Limbaugh or others.

Which God are we talking about now? You’re comparison is so bad it makes it difficult to tell.

I really wouldn’t be shocked to find out that Obama lied, cheated and stole to get Ohio in his column only to lose to Romney in Pennsylvania where he didn’t think he needed to cheat.

How are we going to vote if there’s no electricity, since they’ve stopped using paper ballots and punch cards?

Schools and city buildings will get high priority for restoring electrical service. No way they're still down by next Tuesday. Some houses may still be dark but the necessary places ought to be back on before then. (Of course some may double as shelters - that could be another problem).

I prefer to think of it as God conducting an object lesson in exactly who really controls the ocean levels.

No, I think it helps Obobo. Look for his encouraging words everyday. I expect to see him passing out relief supplies too.

God’s will shall prevail in this election. Our job will be to accept His will gracefully. He knows what is best for us.

Praise God.

The Bible says that he places them all in power and sometimes he lets bad people get into power because we ask for it.

No. Just as God didn't side with "democrats" when a conservative area like Joplin was destroyed by a tornado. This is just nature.

God cares about our morals as people, not who the president is.

As the local morning ‘radio gawds’ pronounce:
“You put THAT on the radio, and SOMEBODY’s gonna listen to it!”

Gee, I’ve been through the original “Where were you when the lights went out?”, on a military base on Cape Cod. I’ve been through a few hurricanes, ice storms, blizzards, and just plain boredom. How did I manage?? RADIO!!

Sure, there has been the development of the television/cable broadcasts through the years, but RADIO challenges you in a different manner. How? All that you hear, in news, in stories or plays (old time radio is the best), has to be interpreted by that thing between your ears. They can’t spoon feed you on radio, as much.

So, all those folks in the NorthEast, and I’ve lived there a year or two, have to get used to deciphering all that stuff that they are NOT hearing on TV. The only stations that are not conservative, are those pesky 9am to 3pm classical music stations, that pass along the NPR pablum.

For those to know, a Grundig radio still works best. I can use ‘D’ or “AA” batts in mine. (Watch out for that — some of the newer models are “D” size HOGS (more than a 4 cell Maglite can hold), and NOT interchangeable with “AA” batts.
Yes, you get a power adapter, but with power fluctuations, it is winter now, just keep batts on hand. The signal will be cleaner with no extra ‘noise’ to hear.

I use my radios to listen to Rush every day. When I get up in the dark of morning, I use a little “AAA” batt set, with headphones to listen to Walton and Johnson (They are a hoot, and not at all for Obama).

Yes, the folks affected by the storm named Sandy will discover what radios can do. I’ve been a radiohead, eight transistors and counting, since the days of “Cousin Brucie”, from NYC. Sure, I have the TV/cable, the computer internet with YouTube and Live365 Internet radio, but it’s that boxy thing with the knobs on it, the PVC T-antenna clipped on for shortwave reception, that two-buck T-antenna we used to get with our $200 stereo receiver plugged in the back, that little needle thingie that tells me when I have the best reception, my five feet of #22 gauge ground wire trailing off and tied in a knot, and that sound of a human voice, challenging me to envision, as I interpret it, what they are talking about, that is Freedom to me, as long as I have batteries to feed it.

C’mon, liberals only listen to “All Liberal Things Considered” on PBS.

You forgot "Morning Sedition."

Most (ALL?) of the Eastern states most heavily affected ore heavy Dem states.

Early voting so far favors the GOP, therefore any reduction in turnout for the election will hurt the Dems the most.

The GOP members are highly motivated while the Dem voters are seeing the ‘writing on the wall’ and are less motivated. That's another plus for the GOP.

Perhaps Romney will have enough electoral votes to give him the election without those eastern states votes.

“God is only your God if you’ve accepted him.”

Sorry, such a comment denigrates God. God is still God if he is accepted by someone or not.

What a weird attempt, to what I do not know.
To compare the possible election of Romney to Jesus Christ and Salvation is disgusting.

“Has God Sided With Mitt Romney? (Vanity)”’

God sides with “both the righteous and unrighteous.”

He has shown great mercy despite the vile arrogance of the destruction of the innocent.

He has also brought the Resurrection of freedom to whom so ever will, in spite of the attempted Satanic Roman takeover of the human body, the temple of the Holy Spirit. Whether that attempted takeover direct by the State, or by deception calling it a “replacement”, to the benefit of a failed financial paradigm.

Sure he’s still God, but he’s not our God if we reject him.

My comments don’t denigrate God.
