I think if anything this is going to help Obama
The media is going to try to make this storm out to be worse than Katrina and they are going to portray Obama as a fearless decisive leader.

(There's been a huge party. All plates and the bottles are empty, all that's left is the bill to pay)
I think if anything this is going to help Obama The media is going to try to make this storm out to be worse than Katrina and they are going to portray Obama as a fearless decisive leader.
And Obama is going to milk this all the way to Election Day with announcements, manufactured dynamic images during on-site appearances and most of all a major change in subject. Libya won't see the front page again until after Nov. 6. For now, he's going to benefit.. Americans attach themselves to their president in a time of crisis. The only question is how much.

(Record high turnout is our hope for sending 0bama home. Pray hard!!!)
I agree. This hurricane is a gift to 0bama, right before the election. He'll emerge as a hero and will get the added bonus of claiming 'voters were disenfranchised' by power outages or transportation difficulties resulting from the hurricane. I would think that if God was on Mitt's side, this hurricane would not have happened.
The one point to be made though is, WHO are the motivated voters? No matter what, Mitt wins that one and we will vote NO MATTER WHAT (If there's an election, that is. LOL!.. This ain't over yet!)
Cracks me up to hear Shep Smith say 'Fire Island'. Isn't that a gay bar in California?? LOL
