Anyone able to get the streaming player to work?
No savage on any of the streams...the payer won’t load...
This works for me
Thanks for the link, I’ll keep trying, but when I click on the link, the page times out.
It could be pop up blocker or some kind of java glitch on this end.

Wattenburg encouraged Savage to ignore the abuse from their fellow hosts at KGO/KSFO.. especially the liberals at KGO. This was in the days before KSFO and Savage filled in on an over night show. The liberals at KGO hated him. Wattenburg was his buddy.
They were great friends I recall Savage having nothing but praise for his fellow PhD.
Sound like the TRN Savage is back.. too bored with existential threats to our Nation, prefers to read to us from his new book, maligns a former friend for.. what? Becoming a little too successful over at TRN?
What's next.. "The Savage Nation.. You're listening to an encore performance. . . ."
NO CHWAIN CHWACKS!!
he is the same, no one wants to talk about this-let’s talk about me, ya it won’t affect my lifestyle-mmmkay
and yes I complain a lot ;)
He is back to being the old Savage, just bashed the Wallbanger... His repetitive and constantly criticizing, cuts off the callers.
Gosh i had hope, i give up.
No use for Savage. He bailed on me with his radio show. Screw Michael Savage.
Back to two hours a day? The TRN Savage returns.. OK so do two hours a day -- but admit it this time!
Yes i heard it as well... “it’s a beautiful Friday”
I’m a Savage fan and I like that he rips Hannity, Fox News, O’Reilly and others. That is the whole point of Savage, that he just doesn’t worship others in the media, it is what makes him interesting. Savage is the most Non PC person in the media, I like that, it is a refreshing change from how the media gods worship each other.
Yes it appears that he is only 2 hours live, I’m fine with that.
I’m a Savage fan as well, and i’m no fan of Hannity etc. at all. But the bashing of others is getting tiresome, and its diminishing Savage! It was entertaining for a while but not any longer. Savage needs to focus more on himself/show, he should either let his callers finish a sentence or stop taking calls altogether.
And he should come clean about his 3’d hour! His listeners deserve some respect an honest host!
His listeners deserve some respect AND AN honest host!
I got tired of fighting the slownessssssssss of FR and had to be up early today and probbly the rest of the week.
I agree yes it is, the bashing and name-calling of competitors for one example.
It is his business but it is juvenile IMO; I didn't like it when I was a kid -- perhaps partially as a result of those pre-TV Newsreels in the theaters of name-calling gone amuck in Germany. There were no need for PG warnings for movies in those days but the news reels out of Germany after the War could have used them.
By the 1990s I had experienced decades of "Fairness Doctrine" radio with its forced absence of substance and now there was modern talk radio with Limbaugh, et al. and their polite tolerance of raging lefty lunatics screaming insults just like they had done without restriction for decades.
Along came Savage who showed all the others how to "give it back to 'em." By all means call the raging lunatics screaming insults at us names, of course -- and if that happens to run amuck and s--- happens to them.. well, hey! s--- happens. :)
I literally never missed a minute of his show when he was at KSFO.. even if I had to get to work by 5:00AM to make sure I could leave at 4:00PM (the show was 4pm to 7PM).
But since he's taken on (obsessed with?) national competitors it's less and less worth listening to the show IMO. Talk radio is a business first.. Savage is a natural who often proves that he does not even need show prep that others spend hours doing. It seems to appeal to enough people to keep Savage on air for as long as he likes. Good for him.
Why did he call him a creep if he was a friend? I wasn’t listening to the show that day. Thank you.
A caller remarked that he remembered Savage from the days when he (Savage) filled in for Wattenburg -- Savage immediately interjected "I never filled in for that creep." That is what it sounded like to me.
Savage has often spoke of how Dr. Wattenburg -- a fellow PhD -- encouraged him and helped him deal with the flak he (Savage) caught from the liberals at KGO where Savage began his career in radio as a fill in. Sister station KSFO was just beginning all conservative and Savage was quickly welcomed there with his own show.
Savage can "turn on a dime." I recall his days in the late 1990s when he was a friend of Joseph Farah of WND. Then one day Savage got very angry at Farah and I remember Farah asking the KSFO morning show hosts (Farah was a regular guest of Lee Rodgers and Melanie Morgan), "What's with Savage, why is he angry at me?"
Well neither cared to offer any opinion why. Savage's co hosts avoided commenting about Savage who rarely attacked them personally but regularly claimed total credit for KSFO's success. In those days KSFO was live and local except for CoastToCoastAM at night.
As for Farah everything appears to be OK now.. I think Savage was angry that WND had stolen one of his sayings and not credited him. I recall Savage complaining about it but no mention of Farah.. just WND.
As for Dr. Wattenburg if there is a rift and it pertains to something professional and not behind-the-scenes personal it could similar or Wattenburg apparently is no longer a once-a-week, late-night radio personality on KGO San Francisco but now is a competitor with a national audience at TRN. I believe.
If there is a rift and it is personal it could be that Dr. Wattenburg did not openly support Savage's dispute with TRN.
Re: Savage turning on a dime. I know what you mean. I’ve noticed that too.
He seems very thin skinned to me.
