How many fires are caused by water? Not many that I can think of. Broken gas lines may be a culprit, but there are not many sparks when all the power is off and everything is under water.

I was just curious how an insurance company would see that if the gas line breaks, and downed power lines that sparked the fire were the result of a major flood - as is apparently the case in this particular fire.

Even flooded and power “turned off” there are still ignition sources. Cable lines can carry some power as do phone and data lines. Lightening or a hot power line miles away that falls on a TV cable line can also energize a cable line.

Gas is very easy to ignite, even a static elect spark is enough to do it.

Hey Brother, you cannot educate those, who prefer to remain ignorant and colluding to collect insurance money. I have to laugh at some of the mindless troll supporters here on the FB. These folks read their insurance policies and decided to contact “Quido” for some for some preservation insurance called A-R-S-O-N in my opinion.
