Did anyone look in on The New Weather Channel last night? It used to be called Fox News.

Watching Greta was pretty revealing. She's trying to paint a picture of mass death and destruction but all the guests she spoke with were people in Atlantic City and Ocean City who stayed put and came through unharmed because they wanted to protect their property and most importantly, have access to their homes in the aftermath of the storm.

I said it before. This storm likely saved Obama’s presidency.

The winner... for the most over-the-top hyperbole of the day.

Could backfire...the more his face is on TV, the more people think “I don’t want to see this guy for another 4 years.”

Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding...We have a Winner!

Clearly you underestimate the superficiality of an undecided’s vote.

Yes, but he looks so Presidential\ sarc

He did such a great job pontificating from the White House! The drive-by's hung on his every word. They hyped how he "bravely" cancelled his Florida campaign appearance to fly back to Washington DC to "monitor" the storm. I like Rush's commentary:

They flew him back, and he has spoken. AP. I have it right here in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers. AP, Breaking News!” Ready? Ready for it? “Obama: “Slow-Moving Storm Will Affect Millions, Urges Americans to Heed Warnings.” (Gasp!) Wow. That we could not have done without. That... Oh, thank God. (interruption) Apparently not. Apparently he could not tell us this from Florida.

Watch the name calling. Ad hominem attacks don’t change the fact that there are shallow people out there who allow themselves to be swayed by the MSM’s tactics. How in the hell do you think O got elected in the first place? How does this guy even have 47% of the electorate’s support? Are they stupid? Yes, why yes they are. if people used their brains I wouldn’t be concerned. Unfortunately, they don’t.

Settle down...in two days, power will be restored and the news is going to shift back to the election.

A storm is not going to change the fundamentals of this race.

Wow, bring it down a notch here. Obviously none of us know whether some surprising voter response could come out of this weather event, but you basically would need the the independents who Romney appears to be winning (who probably lean a little more conservative anyway) to then SWITCH their intended vote to Obama because “he seems to care about us”. It could happen, but that is what you are calling as fact it would seem.

No one that will vote for Romney will tell a pollster that they expect for obama to be reelected... so this is more evidence that Rasmussen's polling is skewed towards obama... they all are.

Great image of the power of the very famous 47 % .

These 47 % are commonly known as ‘those that are in the wagon and not pulling the wagon.’

Women should not have gotten the vote, country went down hill after that, we got Wilson, FDR, Clinton and Obama. A preponderance of Concern Trolls seem to be women this year.

That is the difference between a ground game and media-polls.

One is for real and the other is for fun.

Hardly when you’re being negative, I’d say its an accurate description!

There are a number of people who’ll vote for O anyway - my point is don’t be concerned with what other people are thinking.

People who think positive and want change will get it. Pray for America!

O is still at 47%. We have six days to go.

Problem is, they have six days to gin up more fraud. Plus the phony attention he is paying to the storm.

those soft undecided types see that and think “Maybe he is a good President after all...”

... And then they wake up and have to fill up their gas tank, buy food, and file their weekly unemployment claim. Nice try.

I guess we didn’t get the memo. We’re supposed to put our heads in the sand like we did in 08.

Living in Fla we deal with this all the time.

Storms are hyped to no end, they take on a life of their own , bigger than
any major sporting event, and covered as such in minutia

Was interesting to see a reporter in Point pleasant NJ talking about how
dangerous it was, and then we see two people walk right up to the beach
in a background shot.

He never knew they were there, when he closed with “ the streets are deserted”
