Shouldn’t they be sharing their wealth so that all the people on food stamps can have their free phones?

The answer to your question, at least in Ms Edelman’s case, can be summed up in one word - pension.

I’m certainly not immune to worry over the election or the fate of the country, but let me pose a question for stressed-out liberals. Why do you continue to vote to make the federal government and the leaders at its helm an ever-more present and powerful part of every part of our lives when you know there’s a chance every four years a guy you won’t like will be at the helm? If it’s going to stress you out this much who has the levers of power, perhaps you should work toward making the levers less powerful?

This last part is FANTASTIC !!!

First time I've heard this concept articulated in this way.

“Nothing more needs to be said,” said Edelman, a retired educational administrator.

At 60, she's probably been retired 5 years already.

Yup. Thats a home run. They want the feds to have more and more power, but are crapping themselves at the thought of a Republican getting their hands on that power.

Poor Kay Edelman, so stressed by the possibility of a DemoRat loss at the polls that she can't sleep or exercise.

After a lifetime as a DemoRat non producer on a government pension, she can get no peace.

I recommend suicide for the reward she so richly deserves.

It would break my heart if anything tragic were to happen to Kay and her friends at any point after 10PM (Eastern) on 11/6.

wow - THEY'RE STRESSED!!

They haven't had anything like the stress of millions of people out of work - and that while trying to make devalued dollars stretch...

Liberalism is a mental disease.

More obvious every single day.

That makes too much sense for the average SanFranpsycho liberal to comprehend.

If I were her (and thank you, Lord, that I am not!), I’d worry more about Moonbeam’s plans for California that Romney’s coming victory.

Reminds me of the late, great Richard Jeni’s riff on how Californians deal with stress...”Quick, someone get me a Perrier and a motivational cassette tape!”

For the past several weeks, the 60-year-old San Francisco resident has frequently bolted awake in the middle of the night, in “a panic attack,” she said.

Wow sounds like my life for the last four years under this ass clown POTUS because I graduated in 08 and I'm still struggling to find a decent career because of his policies and economy.

Oh well, payback's a b*tch liberal scum enjoy the last eight days of your precious "Messiah" who can lower the sea levels and heal the planet, but can't stop a storm on the east coast. I'm really hoping the next four years are better than the previous four because I like many here cant afford another term of this BS.

San Francisco is a beautiful city. It’s only flaw is that it’s infested with San Franciscans.
