And you are all safe and warm in your homes, pontificating while we have a disaster of enormous magnitude here.
Hope you don’t get smacked by the remanants and lose your power for a week or two..just to begin with.
I suppose you also think it’s Bush’s fault..we have all had some sort of disaster and dealt with it ...its no reason for Christie to be such an obious suck up to Obama..claiming not to makd a political deal out of it while at the same time doing just that.
First let me say my heart and prayers go out to all affected by this disaster.
But in my most humble opinion...there is no reason that a governor should have to kiss hiney or play politics to get disaster aid. I think I’ll lay that at The Won’s feet. Perhaps Christie has seen what he has done to Texas in the past.
Disaster aid is nothing more than our tax dollars.
The only thing that obama is doing is taking advantage of this due to the closeness of the election. All he can do is declare a state of emergency at a federal level which directs taxpayer money to the affected areas.
we had worse hits back in the 70s. 7' in 2 days, no power for 5 weeks. We had to pull whole families out by snowmobile at 3 AM (4 miles, no gps, no cell phones or radios)
