Hundreds of people reported receiving strident, unsolicited anti-Obama text messages throughout Tuesday evening in an unusual spamming incident that had Twitter and Facebook users in an uproar.
“Voting for Obama means voting for same-sex marriage,” one message read. Others included “Obama stole $716 Billion in Medicare. We cant [sic] trust Obama to protect our seniors,” “Obama is using your tax dollars to fund Planned Parenthood and abortions. Is that right” and “VP Biden mocks a fallen Navy Seal during memorial. Our military deserves better.”

The Twits and the Facebookers are in an “uproar”? Well, gee whiz. I don’t know if that makes me feel sad or not. LOL!
Those are “strident”? I wonder what they call tweets saying they are going to assassinate Mitt Romney?

Yes. They have the RIGHT to shout and espouse their point of view and if you don’t agree... well you need to shut the heck up! Went through this with an in-law family member earlier this week. Don’t try to discuss issues with them. When you provide evidence of WHY your point of view is correct, they accuse you of trying to FORCE your view on them! Basically if you speak you are “bullying” them.

Come on, it's fine to say that a vote for O is a vote for same sex marriage. O just made a big deal about how he is for... same sex marriage. Do we remember? Actually, oddly, I think many have forgotten. That's why it is very good to remind people of this before election day.

is this really a story worthy of pollutico? since they can adopt the “obamugabe is a victim” mode, i suppose they justify it.
Hell, as if Obama’s own words weren’t enough, the entire RAT party convention this year proudly touted the fact that a vote for Obama was a vote endorsing gay marriage. I hope Christian Democrats heard that message loud and clear.
