Heard this as I watched the Giants' Victory celebration. Nancy Pelosi introduced to the crowd and after some perfunctory applause, you can hear a lot of BOOS from the crowd and I don't think THAT was related to Halloween!!
Maybe they thought she was wearing her Halloween costume?

I’m watching the parade and the subsequent City Hall speeches that are about to come from the players and a lot of the city dignitaries are present and Piglosi happened to be there and the Million or so fans that have jammed the City Hall plaza booed her.
Much of SF may be liberal, but much of SF Giants fans are not liberals, myself included.
2 WS in 3 years. Hasn’t been done since the Big Red Machine of the mid 70’s.

One these days - maybe years, California and San Francisco will figure out that they have screwed themselves. Not sure when it will happen but it will happen! It will probably be way too late to save them though - too bad.

Plus, the Giants’ championships are result of things politicians like Pelosi eschew-hard work, teamwork, position based on merit, tenacity, and a competitive drive. They are a fun team to watch.
