Have you voted Yet? (Vanity)

Posted on 10/31/2012 2:44:02 PM PDT by BornToBeAmerican

I just voted, I hope everyone has or is going to.

The place was packed and it was good to see. I know Texas is safe, but one is never safe doing nothing.

Go Vote

Sent in my absentee ballot last week. Doing my part to narrow Romney/Ryan’s margin of defeat in the People’s Republic of Mexifornia...

I was a Judge at both Bush runs and primaries what long days they were My wife is unable to stand or walk far so we went Monday. It took more time to get from parking to vote no line no machine malfunction like Gilford county.

I’m in CA. Just found out my work schedule puts me 400 mi. away from my local voting place on Nov. 6, and now it’s too late to apply to vote by mail. Do I have any options?

I’m going to try and vote tomorrow at 0700. The lines here have been horrendous in Palm Beach County. I’ve had some health issues lately, so it won’t be cheating if I use a walker. Maybe they’ll take pity on grizzled old vet with a walker

I like voting on voting day, but was going to be out of town. Rather than miss voting Obama out, I voted early. :)

No. Election Day is next Tuesday, and that’s when I’ll vote.

How could you not vote Romney, at least as a vote against Obama. It is not even close. I respect your decision, but will urge you to vote Romney.

In Georgia, we have early voting locations to go vote at. Don’t know how it works in CA. I used to do Absentee.

I can’t say for sure, but I think the large bold font made that more interesting.

This is the first time I voted by mail. I have a disability. In good weather I can always get out, but if it’s too cold or snowing, I’m stuck.

Really wish we could all vote by mail or internet, but we’d probably have more fraud than we already have. If someone could only design truly impenetrable security...

CA? Unless you’re from OC or Fresno, it doesn’t make any difference. You are shouted down by the leftists.

Only think I can hope for is that you live in a truly RED or truly BLUE state.

Don’t blame voters for bad candidates. There’s nothing childish about saying “I don’t agree with this guy enough to vote for him”.

Wife and I both voted early in San Antonio. Lines were not long - I voted on day one, wife did today with no line. Our area is mixed D and R. Very few signs out.

There have been a couple of elections I actually missed because I had to work during election day. Not everybody works 8 hour shifts.

While I don't support early voting 100% because it can offer more opportunity for the other side to commit voter fraud, it also gives the working man more of an opportunity to cast his vote as well.

Here's the deal. If you can only vote on Tuesday within a particular time frame, republicans could actually lose votes of the working class (the ones who push the wagon) who cannot leave their jobs to vote. That leaves the riders of the wagon all the time in the world to vote at least once. They have nothing to do all day.

I would support a weekend election day instead of a Tuesday election.

If we could enforce the laws and increase dramatically the penalties for voter fraud, early voting would be an advantage to the republicans.

I voted already for 2012. Did it last month. That's ONE more car that will fit in the parking lot on tuesday for someone to vote and I could actually bring in a car full of voters on Tuesday (if I don't have to work)and wait in the car knowing that I do not have to stand in that long line.

It's more convenient. You, you will have to go there twice. Once for you to get your vote in and the second time to bring other voters to vote against Obama as well.

We need to use the recources we have (whether we agree with them or not) to OUR advantage. You can bet the opposition is doing it for Obama's advantage.

Honestly, I have some problems with Romney. But I’ve talked to way too many people who are struggling right now looking for work, who have told me they would be in despair about being able to find work if Zero is re-elected and Obamacare goes into effect.

Whatever issues I may have with Romney, I simply cannot justify not doing what is in my power to rid the country of Obama.
