Thank you.

Two of our freezer packs leaked blue coolant all over the bottom of the fridge. I try not to open it. If I see it, I have to clean it. ;-)

We lost cellphones and landlines. We did have wireless (go figure) and Hubby had charged all the battery backups so we could check outages etc. There was nothing on the radio about our area.

It was horrid for you. I could hear everything Darks was telling me, but he had difficulty hearing me. I felt awful for you all....

You can’t imagine the smell in hot Texas Sept after 3 weeks of no power...Trash pick up was also affected so it was yukky in and out..
The blue goo will wait.

The 40ft hemlock biting the dust was scary. The wind uprooted fence posts, cement and all. But the canvas shed had no damage. Wind is capricious.

We were very fortunate. Even though we lost a 40 ft hemlock, it GENTLY landed on the garden room and did no damage.

I'm just now finding out about the devastation elsewhere.

Gosh! 40ft tree! I hear you on that. Issac took out that 75ft tree of my neighbor’s that barely missed my house.

The hemlock had critters living in the center of it....termites or carpenter ants. There were no signs it was dangerous. We just cut down 4 maples about 2 weeks ago that were in our power lines. I think Hubby is eyeing a few more trees. LOL
