"I really believe, having read it, that it is the smoking gun warning here. You've got this emergency meeting in Benghazi, less than a month before the attack. At that briefing, the people are told that there are ten, ten, Islamic militias and al-Qaeda groups in Benghazi. The consulate can not sustain a coordinated attack and they need extra help. This information goes directly to the office of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. So, again, you have the culpability of the State Department. This is a very specific warning that they're in trouble, they need help and they see an attack on the horizon," FOX News' Catherine Herridge reported on FOX News' "On the Record" Wednesday night.
"I believe based on this cable the point that was being made, that they wanted made publicly, not just in a classified study, is that the warning that came from Benghazi was very specific. It said 'we can not withstand an attack,' the militias are everything, al-Qaeda is here. This was known to the U.S. intelligence community as well. And that they really could not see a situation where security was going to turn around. They send that it was trending negatively," Herridge further reported.
"I can't think of anything that would be more specific than if these groups had emailed the State Department and said, 'Here's the time, here's the place, and here's the method of the attack,'" she said.

And when did Glen Doherty go there? I have this vague recollection that his dad said that his son visited in the summer before heading to Libya. His dad was concerned about this mission. But I don’t remember what else he said. It seemed like this mission caused Mr. Doherty more angst than he would normally feel. It is just the feeling I got from what he said. I have no idea what the source was.
Herridge is bright and intense and she has been on this like white on rice, along with other FNC reporters. They smell blood in the water (not to mention Pulitzers) and they will not be deterred. Whether it happens before the election or not I don’t know but I believe this will doom both Hussein and Clinton when it all comes out. Pretty soon there’s going to be a new sheriff in town, and even the MSM won’t be able to sweep this under the rug.
I’d bet money on a Pulitzer for Herridge.

You can bet the MSM will try. Right now, the Hurricane is dominating the airwaves, so they get a reprise from Benghazi. Or an excuse as I like to call it. Not to diminish the horrible devastation, but we need some answers before the election.
0bama was notified immediately and automatically when the Benghazi consulate triggered the "Imminent Danger Notification System" alert. He did nothing.

Denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. The lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack were fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. The inaction during the attack was something more than that.
The failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion IMO.
ONE man had the authority to act that night.
