Dominican hookers, to be specific. This is what we’re hearing about the sex scandal involving a “powerful senator” in a headline being touted by Drudge, with a story by the Daily Caller promised late tonight.

UPDATE: Shortly after the Drudge Report headline went up, my associate Ali Akbar got a tip that the story involved Sen. Menendez of New Jersey and at least one prostitute with whom he trysted on a taxpayer-funded trip to the Dominican Republic. Within one hour, Akbar had confirmed this with other sources, and we understand that numerous reporters in D.C. have heard similar reports.

UPDATE II: Some online sources are saying underaged Dominican hookers, but Ali’s sources cannot confirm the age of the alleged partner.

UPDATE III: Menendez’s Republican challenger is Joe Kyrillos who, unless I’m mistaken, suddenly became a serious contender.

Interestingly, on April 17, Sen. Menendez was interviewed by NJ Today Online and was asked about what the consequences should be for the secret service agents who were involved in the sex scandal in Cartegena, Colombia.

He answered, "If the facts are true, they all should be fired. The reality is is that the secret service not only protects the president of the United States, they represent the United States of America. They were on duty. If the facts are true as we are reading in the press, they shouldn't have a job."

Rat voters couldn't care less about character, honesty, and integrity. With them, it's all about getting the "free stuff" confiscated for them from their working neighbors by Democrat politicians and handed over in exchange for votes.

This scandal will have no effect on Democrat turnout for Menendez.

Maybe this is the reason that Christie has been so nice to Obama. Maybe Obama gave him no choice, saying that Bob Menendez had invited him and that Christie was welcome to play along, or else.
