Obama's Loss: Inevitable for Years
American Thinker ^ | 11/1/12 | C. Edmund Wright

Posted on 11/01/2012 3:12:04 AM PDT by Evil Slayer

Do not be seduced by the disproportionate emphasis on recent events with regard to Barack Obama's pending landslide loss. I submit that a more sober analysis indicates that November 2012 has been inevitable for at least four years. In some ways, it's been inevitable for even longer than that.

You see, Barack Obama and his statist agenda have failed because they could not possibly succeed. In a way, electing Obama was liberal America's dash off a cliff -- and the 2012 election is merely the day they officially make contact with the ground. There has been no other outcome possible. The pundits and the pollsters can argue political gravity all they want -- and they certainly have for the majority of the past four years -- but truth does not require validation from those who refuse to acknowledge it. Truth is...period. The next thud you hear will be the unhappy realization of this fact from many on the left. Their philosophy works only in theory and never passes the reality of human nature.

Obama has been like Wile E. Coyote in animation -- sort of running in place, with no foundation underneath him since his '08 campaign. Only the David Axelrod cartoon world of astroturfed events and issues, supported by a fawning media, has kept him suspended this long. The crash will happen because it has to happen.

Why? Consider:

Everything Obama and his cohorts in the media, academia, union halls, Congress, and the crony capitalist world believe in is fraudulent. There was never going to be any economic recovery on their watch because they haven't the foggiest how an economy works. There was never going to be any newfound love of America overseas because they have no clue what it is about America that has made us the shining

Landslide predictions come hot and heavy when polls change...

...where were such prognostications when the polls apparently chiseled Obama’s reelection in stone?

It all depends what you believe, the things you are told (media) or things you see (Chick-Fil-A, Scoot Walker, Mid-Term results) to name a few

I think there were. From early summer and before, it was just that any and every suggestion about Romney winning were immediately guffawed and ridiculed by every member of the press and media.

They were confident in their collusion and knew the FIRST reaction to any suggestion of the contrary is to slam down hard. Quell dissent completely.

This fell apart after the first debate. They cannot hold back the tide now. They don’t have enough digits and appendages to stick in the dike now.

Where have you been reading?
This writer has been predicting this for four years. Predicted 2010 mid terms as well. How do I know? I wrote this and all of these pieces for the last four years:

Had a piece several weeks ago in fact:

I am going to be very interested in the governors races and the down ticket races for state legislatures. This could be huge and is very worth watching.

If you go back over the last four years and review Obama's public favorability numbers on a week-by-week basis, you'll find that his approval ratings declined dramatically around July 2009 and have never really recovered. You can trace his decline to the exact week when that Henry Louis Gates incident took place, and Obama responded by claiming that "the cops acted stupidly."

I said at the time that his presidency was effectively over, because he revealed something that everyone in his campaign and the mainstream media had tried to shield from public view ... that he's nothing more than a surly, black malcontent with a teleprompter and an expensive suit.

White people have been voting against him and his ilk in this country ever since.

I will not be celebrating until I see the guy physically leave the WH for good. There is something in me that cautions, given the winds pushing Zero, that it ain’t over till it over.

Faith and prayer are more powerful than empty and negative rhetoric. We are in a war against evil right now and we are in it to win. Keep the faith my FRiend.

I hope you’re correct in your prediction. As I still cannot believe that we elected Obama in the first place, I’m hopeful but won’t be shocked to wake up Nov. 7 to learn he’s won a 2nd term.

But if you are right, what do you think the excuses will be, besides racism? And Bush.

Obama’s election was the “moment” they’d been waiting for. They had control of the Executive branch, congress, public schools & academia, media, entertainment, unions, progressives in prominent positions inside big business and internet outlets....

Everything was in place for them to succeed in socialism and the remaking of America, where all others before them had failed, because the right people presumably hadn’t been in power before. They were going to show us and the world how smart they were and that it would work brilliantly under their tutelage. “Yes, we can.”

If Obama does lose, the radical left will still control a lot but four years ago nearly all of it was theirs. We know they’ll be back and keep trying, but I wonder what their excuses for why Socialism was rejected/didn’t work this time will be.

Rush, Jan. 2009: “I hope he fails.” Unfortunately, He succeeded too much and people instantly began to repent. But we’re still in that process. We’ll omelette it Tues.

Absolutely... nothing is assured in this world... but it is better to be Mitt Romney and be where he is today... facing a failed sitting president whose media cannot... even using lies and deceit and false data... poll him above 47%.
