I changed the headline to revert it as closely as possible to the original.
This will change nothing.
Given that our current federal methodology purposely under-counts inflation (by which we’ve actually continued in contraction rather than an expansion straight through Obama’s four years), real wages are really plummeting.
And of course even the 7.9% figure is bogus.
Unemployment amongst blacks jumped almost a full point. Just shaking my head at that number.. That is truly sad.
The ‘effin WSJ bloggers are all spinning it positive for Obama, even in the face of many negative features of this report. Incredible.
My original posting said the number Rose. My headline was changed to “unchanged”
I have no idea why.
7.8 to 7.9 is an increase according to everyone from my math teacher spouse to my calculator.
:: I expected them to cook the books down below 7% for Dear Ruler. ::
Ahhh, but they did! Yesterday, they announced revisions that indicated less jobs than were previously thought since February. There was no corresponding revision of the Index for those months. It was, most likely, 8.5 to 8.3 in that time.
Odd how the first big bump down (8.3 to 8.1) occurred in March, isn’t it?
Obama still their man, though.
Hey, it either change or didn’t! It changed, really, not essentially! (semantics)
No worries. Give him a second term. He will fix it all, but good. You will see 20% unemployment and everyone broke with his total socialist destruction of America. Tuesday folks. Tuesday. Anyone who votes for him GETS what they ask for, and the end result will be nothing.
You know that if it dropped .01 the headline would be “Unemployment plummets in October!”
My original title said it rose. I have no idea why that title was changed to “unchanged” and then changed again to “essentially unchanged”.
Well, whenever they issue a cooked-books number (which is most of the time) they have to revise it a week later.
The big tip-off is use of that word.
He didn’t keep it under 8%, he finally got it under 8%.
That is not the headline I posted. I posted in the headline that it rose.
It was changed after I posted it by someone or something.
I have no idea why. In my world going from 7.8 to 7.9 is an increase. I’m sorry you think I made that mistake, but I can see why you think it.
Rick Santelli was in rare form calling these numbers BS while Steve LIESman and the other sycophants sat there open mouthed. It was a thing of beauty.
Oh. I think the admin changed it. Interesting.
Look folks, the Obamabots tried the best they could......but....this Jobs number information is not going to help Obama one way or the other!!! Obama’s has more problems politically. Crowd size for one: Yesterdays campaign rally numbers: Green Bay, WS = 2,600, Las Vegas, NV = 4500, Denver, CO = 10,000. That is a grand total of 17,500 for three campaign stops, not good numbers. Comparison with 2008 for one trip to Las Vegas, NV during the last week of the 2008 PTUS campaign = 80,000. Obama has a problem!!!!
Get out and vote for Rpmney/Ryan, folks!!! ABO!!!
