If the moon was not full, the flood would have been averted. We must work together to bad full moons.

True enough, the flooding was largely the result of timing. If the storm had arrived at low tide there might still have been some flooding but nowhere near what they got.

The name for the Oct 29 full moon is “Hunter’s Moon”
I think it should be renamed to “Sailor’s Moon”

Oh, and when TS Irene hit us, It was a full moon also.

Ban full moons.
