Romney on a razor's edge in Florida [True? Or is this propaganda?]
LA TIMES ^ | November 2, 2012 | DAVID LAUTER

Posted on 11/02/2012 6:27:44 AM PDT by SoFloFreeper

Even as the lion's share of attention in the presidential campaign goes to the battleground of Ohio and the storm-battered states of the Mid-Atlantic, the outcome to the south, in the nation's largest swing state, now seems very much in doubt.

Mitt Romney moved into a lead here after the first presidential debate, and since then, aides have insisted that Florida, with its 29 electoral votes, sat solidly in their column. But with several polls showing President Obama's fortunes improving here and Democrats performing well in early voting —as of Thursday morning, they led by about 59,000 out of more than 3 million absentee and in-person early votes —Romney has had to devote precious hours to defending his position in the state.

With polls now in a dead heat, Romney campaigned in Florida on Saturday, returned Wednesday for rallies in Tampa, Miami and Jacksonville, and is expected back over the weekend, when Obama also is scheduled to campaign here.

For Obama, victory in Florida is a prize; for Romney it's a necessity. Debates about whether Romney can carry Ohio or other Midwestern states become moot without a win here.

MSM is pushing out all for Obama. If Romney can’t hold FL, it doesn’t really matter whether or not he wins OH.

As with everything, comparisons need to be made to 2008. Obama beat McCain 52 to 47 (about 240,000 votes).

Dems outnumbered us at the end of early voting in 2008 by 370,000. An outstanding number that we could not overcome on election day and also indies went Obama. But we were able to make up the difference.

Contrast that to today: down only 69,000 dems (many of those are conservative dems) and one day of early voting left (tomorrow). They will severely underperform their early voting margin of 2008 and leave us in good position to cream them on election day.

Hope that helps.

I went to early vote in Venice,FL....the line was out the door and into the parking lot...every other time maybe 10 people....I think it will be a landslide for Mittens...but Florida is over run with people form NY, NJ MASS and Mich...so I could be wrong... If OBAMA wins I think I will move back out west maybe Idaho

LA TIMES = BOGUS

All that you have to remember about the LA Times is how blatantly obvious they misled readers in the polls over the Gray Davis Recall.

I’m in St Johns county, one of the most republican counties in FL but do travel the north east part of the state and trust me Romney has won here easily.

I was in Jacksonville and never saw one obama sticker or sign but I must have seen at least 50 Romney signs or stickers.

I was in Flagler last night and saw one obama sticker on I95 but saw about 15 Romney stickers in that time.
Granted this is more republican up here but this year is totally different to 4 years ago.

I know many who has voted early and they have all gone for Romney, many said they never vote early but thought they would do this year as they are so angry about what has been done in the last 4 years, many have said also this was about his social issues etc.

Now saying all of that I saw a big black woman last night using her welfare EBT card, she walked to a brand new Nissan Altima car, could not have been 3 months old and then she had cashed her EBT to get $20 so she then went to the liquor store.

As I was talking to my wife the black woman heard me and interupted telling me it had nothing to do with us and she can do what she wants etc.
Course as she heard my English strong northern accent she told me to go home, get out of America, I;m a white cracker etc.
When the wife called her a racist and ignorant she then said we were racist.

Now I;m saying this as this is the kind of welfare people we are voting against, these freebie handout people want their handouts, they think it is normal for some to work so they can stay at home and drive brand new cars.
These people are not only stuck on stupid, racist and ignorant but they see their handouts under threat so who knows if they come out and vote in our state.

In addition, unlike 2008, Obama will suffer losses among the heavily Democratic Jewish vote due to concerns over his policies toward Israel.

Romney is not scheduled to go back to Florida.
Obviously HE thinks he’s got it in the bag.

Psyc-ops and wishful thinking by the LA Slimes.

Ignore them. They are literally in LA LA land.

If the LA Times was any further up Obama’s butt, they would pop out his mouth.

Romney will easily win Florida and her 29 electoral votes.
Thank-you in advance, Sunshine State voters!

Romney was in Pensacola a few days ago. That tells me he needs to GOTV in the panhandle which is mostly R to offset the So Fla vote. Then its all up to the I-4 corridor.
