Republicans ahead of Dems in Colorado early voting, Obama surrogates still confident
Westword ^ | Nov 2 2012 | Sam Levin

Data released today from the Secretary of State's office shows that in Colorado's early voting period, more Republicans have cast ballots than Democrats. The GOP says there's no getting around the numbers -- the facts show they will take Colorado. But Obama's surrogates here have a different spin: The state will still go blue, but it will be closer than 2008.

Is it me or does it sound like "The Fix Is IN" with the voting in this election? The dems just seem like they "know" something we don't and it is bugging the sh#t out of me.

I just hope it is a case of over confidence on their part but I just can't shake this feeling.....

What would you expect them to say? We’re loosing? I think they know that things are not going well at all for them and they are trying to put the best spin on it.

Whats the alternative - throw in the towel? Of course they’re gonna express optimism if they want to motivate their base to get out & vote. Doesn’t mean anything else.

You are probably 100% right on this, I would be shocked to hear otherwise, and I know that democrat voter fraud ALWAYS happens but I just can't shake this feeling... :-(

I'll be so happy to wake up next Wednesday to President Mitt Romney.

Is it next Tuesday yet? :-)

LOL. Grow a pair. The Dems spin everything like Baghdad Bob. Why are you spooked by anything they say? They lie and it starts at the top. Accept good news, i.e., the actual vote.

They are psy-opping themselves as much as us. One thing they aren’t seeing is that they may appear to exude so much confidence that their people may assume the vote is in the bag so why bother voting.

The difference is that we have the results of EV in Colorado. We are not “psy-opping” ourselves. The Dems are in a state of delusion.

If the fix was in, ZEro wouldn't have been out there in the last few days.

Axelrod already implied that he knew they had lost.

I would not doubt that they rigged the machines. They’ve already found machines that when you tap Romney - Obama lights up. That has happened in what? 4 states now? What about those that are blind and/or don’t realize that the machine is casting the vote for Obama?

We should never vote by any other means than by paper. My town still uses paper! UGH, I think this is going to be so fixed I’m worried!

They are self-deluded. They even lost the EV.

There is no 'fix'.

That’s pretty much what the Denver mayor said when he was stumping in WI a few days ago.

The WI Obama campaign was quick to come out for damage control, but they couldn’t unring the bell. The Denver Mayor had SEEN the early vote counts. LOL!

ok, let me weigh in on this a little. we know there’s fraud because they admit it, i’ve seen blacks being interviewed saying they did. but, if the fraud was widespread, and low level dems knew the “fix was in” wouldnt you think high ranking members of the republican party would know it? and if they did, do you think someone like mitt romney (just using this year as an example) i going to thru an exaustive campaign knowing he’s lost?

Let me say that I share in everyone's enthusiasm!!! I do! Really!

I just sometimes get caught up in the doom and gloom of how easy it has become to "adjust" the vote tallies to favor the democrats and I had a moment of mental weakness!

Please forgive me.

I understand that voter turnout is the KEY and I have been doing my own ground work for Mitt Romney in the trenches on my union job site for the past five months. There have been a few heated confrontations but they end peacefully enough and I think I may have swayed some to vote for Romney or just stay home and not vote.

So bring on next Tuesday! I'm ready!

Thanks again for your words of encouragement though. I obviously needed them......
