This election will come down to personal connections, and I'm asking you to make one today.
As a person of faith for Obama, make sure your family, friends, neighbors, and members of your congregation know about the President's platform on faith -- and how he's standing up for the values we all hold dear.
This election is incredibly close, and there's not much time left to get the word out.
To understand why people of faith are so committed to this president and what he stands for, all you need are his own words -- spoken at the 2012 National Prayer Breakfast:
"We can't leave our values at the door. If we leave our values at the door, we abandon much of the moral glue that has held our nation together for centuries, and allowed us to become somewhat more perfect a union. Frederick Douglass, Abraham Lincoln, Jane Addams, Martin Luther King, Jr., Dorothy Day, Abraham Heschel -- the majority of great reformers in American history did their work not just because it was sound policy, or they had done good analysis, or understood how to exercise good politics, but because their faith and their values dictated it, and called for bold action -- sometimes in the face of indifference, sometimes in the face of resistance ...
"And so when I talk about our financial institutions playing by the same rules as folks on Main Street, when I talk about making sure insurance companies aren't discriminating against those who are already sick, or making sure that unscrupulous lenders aren't taking advantage of the most vulnerable among us, I do so because I genuinely believe it will make the economy stronger for everybody. But I also do it because I know that far too many neighbors in our country have been hurt and treated unfairly over the last few years, and I believe in God's command to 'love thy neighbor as thyself.'"
President Obama's Christian faith, and his belief that we are our brothers' and sisters' keepers, has shaped what he's done as president -- from supporting economic development abroad to making health care more affordable for all Americans, ensuring our elderly can retire securely, and helping all of our children get a good education and a shot at success.

I'm sorry. Anybody who could belong to a church where the rabid, looney pastor directly calls upon God to damn the United States is NOT a Christian.
Anyone who publicly states, "My Muslim faith..." is NOT a Christian.
Anyone who writes that when the going gets rough, he will "...stand with my Muslim brothers," is NOT a Christian.
This is signed by the “Faith Vote Coordinator,” which is a major barf right there. That’s like cynically giving someone a title as “czar of the foolish,” meaning we can play on their beliefs to trick them into voting for out candidate.

President Obama has stated that he was attracted to Christianity as an adult, by tenets of Christianity such as those which tell us that we are our brother’s keeper and our sister’s keeper.
For the president to cite a completely mangled and misunderstood interpretation of a Bible verse as his inspiration to become a Christian, shows how little he really understands about The Bible or Christianity, in my view.
Obama frequently has said that Christianity calls upon us to be our brother’s and our sister’s keeper. He doesn’t even understand what he is saying.
He forgot the “moral glue” that shaped his own faith - writings from Karl Marx, Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Reverend Wright, Mohammed, his holy qur’an, and his greatest hero - Satan who said: “I will be like the Most High”.
Social justice, he weaves it into everything. Change a few words and it would be worthy of Lenin.

We have it on the record that in 2008 he stated that if things ever turned ugly he’d side with the muzzies.
He fulfilled that pledge by demurring on taking out Bin Ladin TWICE before the choice was taken out of his hands by Panetta and Hillary.
He fulfilled his pledge to the muzzies IN SPADES when he sacrificed our 4 Americans in Benghazi rather than have the muzzie attackers wasted if reinforcements had been sent in.
Samuel Johnson said that the last refuge of a scoundrel is patriotism. Someone else, whom I cannot name.....maybe it was me, expanded upon that and said: The last refuge of a scoundrel is usually patriotism or religion.....which I think applies, in SPADES, in this case. No racial pun intended!

I recently attended the funeral of a retired clergyman who was very active in so called “progressive Christianity”.
All refereces to Jesus as “Lord” were removed from the version of the Scriptures read.
The deceased was eulogized for his work with the LGBT community and their “pridefests” and for advocating the feminist agenda before it was popular (in those circles) to do so.
Yeah, the POTUS knows that there are many for whom his values are “our” values...but they certainly aren’t mine.
