This is the official thread for Election Day (the entire week if need be!) relating to the Howie Carr Show and the Jeff Kuhner Report. We'll start off with Howie's column about Elizabeth Warren in her wigwam. "I have pictures but they're not for you..."

Bummer, I heard it on Carr’s show too but can’t find an audio blurb there either...

Kuhner is “off”—actually he should be on tonight. Mike Siegel is on instead.

From the Pacific NW (maybe from NY originally?) used to be part of Natl Association of Radio Talk Hosts that Jerry Williams was a part of. May have been on left but drifted right?

re-pinging the lists.

Howie is on till 8 on WRKO and I believe WHYN (with Avi and Kuhner, next hour.) WGAN usually stops Howie at 6 but they're staying till 7.

Howie: don't believe the early exit polls. At this time in '04 Bob Shrum was telling Kerry "can I be the first to call you Mr. President?" and Steve Lynch was letting it be known he would announce his run for Kerry's seat the following Sat. (i.e., people thought Kerry would win and thus the Senate seat would require a special election).

So it's still early, vote if you haven't done so yet.

Note: the following graphic is from a facebook post by the "Republican Security Council" and please disregard the DailyKos credit...it's just a good way of showing WHEN THE POLLS CLOSE:

Avi and Kuhner after 8 pm on WRKO only

Sununu was on; he says he thinks it will be called (pres race) about midnight, for Romney

(fox news):FIRST POLLS CLOSE AT 7PM ET IN VIRGINIA, GEORGIA, INDIANA, KENTUCKY, SOUTH CAROLINA AND VERMONT

A lot of vote counts are maybe 1 per cent now but who knows.
Lots of states close polls at 8, 9 pm

Sometimes a network will have a predicted winner even though actual vote shows other guy leading: SC.

Early but Fox has R 49, O 3

Where are you listening—online WRKO steam? The terrestrial signal has local stuff on, Kuhner, Avi Nelson. Are you listening on radio or Net/phone?

WRKO AM 680 out of Boston—signal goes north and south
at night

BREAKING: ABC News is projecting President Obama will pick up 3 out of 4 electoral votes in Maine.

Kuhner: “I am hearing turnout in Northern VA, it’s 50-50,
if that’s the case VA will go to Romney. I am hearing PA
is up for grabs...neck and neck. Key will be Phila. suburbs. If they come out big for Romney he will win PA. If so an early knockout.”

Ala for Mitt

good!

They’ve had a bunch of results in MA but maybe only 1 per cent etc counted. Generally Obama high 50 percents, Romney low 40 per cents in MA
Ballot questions, 1 winning big, 2 and 3 winning
Brown-Warren dead heat

6th dist. Tierney losing to Tisei by 51-45, but again only
1 per cent or so reporting in!
