The polls are open on the east coast!!
From this morning's election day prayer thread:
"Heavenly Father may you forgive this nation and its people for the many awful sins that we have commited against you. We do not deserve the wonderful ways we have been blessed and please forgive us for our indifference, neglect and complacency towards you. May you forgive us who are members of your Church who have neglected our calling and commitment to you to be effective witnesses and stewards of the many blessings you have generously bestowed upon us. Many of us have cried out to you for the past few years as never before and we humbly beseech you to bring an overwhelming, crushing defeat on the forces of darkness in our nation. First we pray that you quicken your Church by your spirit and lead us to unity to stand against the onslaught of darkness upon us. May you smash every crooked deed as evil men and women try to hold onto power and may this be so convincing that everyone knows that your hand is in this. Then we may bring the light of your Gospel to our people who do not know you and to the nations of the world.
May you block and undo every policy and piece of legislation they have passed that is harmful to this nation. May you make every policy they make fail and may you turn the hearts of the multitudes against them. May you thwart every evil deed they try to divide this nation with. May you bring their own mischief upon them ten fold. May you punish those in our government who are lawless traitors and enemies of the Constitution by exposing them and deliver them into our hands for justice. However we also pray that through this that you open their eyes to the truth and in your mercy that you bring these people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to serve as a witness to many. May you also use this to bring revival across our nation and a restoration of a culture that glorifies You. We also pray for those just leaders in our government who are struggling against the lawless. We pray for your protection and that you embolden them to do what is right to triumph in the election and in the arena of ideas. May you also continue to open the hearts and minds of the American people to the the truth and draw them towards yourself to be renewed in repentance and spiritual rebirth.
And this we humbly ask in Jesus name. AMEN!"
Practically speaking, can you imagine that these unprecedented lines all over are about “keeping* Buhrock? Not this time.
God keep us.
NJR—Great post.
If somehow RR could pull off NJ...
Thanks for voting.
Just spoke to my husband who voted in Chicago’s Gold Coast this am. He said the lines were longer than he ever remembered.
OMG ENOUGH about Intrade and Nate freakin’ Silver. WHO CARES!
It was a little heavier than usual in my Republican county, but I live in a DEEP BLUE state so it doesn’t matter. However some ballet questions made me come out to vote.
GO ROMNEY!
BTTT for that one!
Marked my ballot and prayed for our country. It’s in God’s hands
The person in back of me voted for him too. He is a priest.
Unfortunately, many of them faggots will enjoy it!
I think the Intrade odds of the SC overturning Obamacare were about 90%.
As a group, gamblers are bad at processing available information and making correct choices. That's what makes casino operators rich!
In any case, I don't think it's legal for US banks to process credit card transactions for online gambling. You might still be able to play, but I think you would have needed to send them a check some weeks ago.

TPM: US President ‘12 (Whites): Romney (R) 59.0% Obama (D) 40.0% (Nov. 05 - IBD/TIPP)
New York Times: Nov. 5: Late Poll Gains for Obama Leave Romney With Longer Odds
PJMedia: It should not be a total shock if Romney wins and carries Ohio to do it
Felicity Ward: Tough night for me. I watched He’s Just Not That Into You while arguing with a cat.If Romney wins I will probably kill myself.
(Who is this???)
Just got back from voting in Lehigh Township Pennsylvania (near Allentown). The line was long in this Republican district. Had to wait 30 minutes to vote. I noticed that some people were being asked to produce ID (not all, just some). Only a few welfare types from the trailer park were in line along with their children. Most people in this area, are hard working American patriots. I think it is going to be a good day for Romney.
I'm here in Blue NJ. My hometown is pure blue, The Mayor was a delegate at the DNC Convention.
There is NOT ONE, I repeat NOT ONE Obama/Biden sign in our whole town including the Mayor's house.
I think we have a great chance to join the rest of the Country in the "House Cleaning" Party of the White House.
Woke up around 0530 here in Marshfield, WI, looked out the sliding glass door and there is white stuff all over the ground. Hope it doesn’t keep our side from the polls. Glad I voted absentee from my great red state of Tennessee. I can sit here all day and monitor FR.
Yeah Intrade has it at 75% chance of Obama victory and Silver’s final forecast projects a 52% popular vote for O and 314 EV.
I mean if the media polls are accurate! They seldom are.
Bon voyage
Now, it's not going to matter in Tennessee, which will go easily for Romney, but it is an indicator of voter intensity that may be similar elsewhere.
What are the signs like in Dem-heavy areas? Big turnout? If it is big in BOTH GOP AND DEM areas, that points to the tie polls being right despite oversampling. We will see.....
Joe Kernen/Squawk Box just read a tweet:
“Early voting will show Dems ahead until Republicans get off work”
I just voted for RR
FUBO
FUJB
FUMSM
FU white guilt ridden leftist scum
FU racist minorities voting for Obama solely for racial
allegiance.
FU Christie Cream
Thank you Romney Ryan for running a far better campaign than any of us imagined.
Thank you JR for bringing us together!
LONG LIVE FR!
voting about 10:30. Needing to send BHO packing.
Go R & R
Hear! Hear! And not another freaking PPP poll should ever be cited on FR again.
Don’t think you have to worry about that. An F5 tornado won’t stop our side today from voting to throw out the Marxist.
How sweet would that be? I'd be as stunned as anyone if that happened, but if it did, Zero would have to concede shortly after 8 PM.
My hubby texted me from Prince William County voting booth — he’s been in line over and hour to vote and thinks he might miss his commuter bus ...

I just voted for RR in Hampden Twp., PA. I vote when the polls open every election. There are usually five or so people waiting for the doors to open. This morning I arrived 10 minutes early. I was 38th to vote. By the time the doors opened the line had easily doubled. As I left the parking lot, there were cars waiting to get a parking space.
I have never seen it like this before. My precinct is heavily Republican, so this is good news. We need to offset the vote in Philadelphia.
Looked it up...seems to be a tranny of some sort...whatever.
Newport News, Virginia here.
No line at my precinct that Bush won by 20 points and McCain won by 3 points. I also voted at 7:30 and was voter number 346 (polls opened at 6:00), which might not be bad. They also had 8 booths and normally only have 2 and I have never in the past encountered a line either. There are huge lines being reported in York County (very republican), Chesapeake (very republican), and Virginia Beach (usually slightly republican but swung for Obama in 2008). Not sure if Bammy’s people are showing up as I haven’t seen any reports in the black precincts, but Romney’s difinitely are. I think we are going to carry Virginia.
I want to see some posts about no lines at all in most of the Dem districts and polling places.
Good news anecdote: Avondale, Cincinnati city precinct at 8:15am I was the 83rd person voting. This is 99.9% democrat area.
The elderly woman in front of me said “they didn’t expect a heavy turnout”...
I consider the turnout sparse by then, and recall in 2008 at 6:15am I was like the 200th person in line!
Also, only 2 people were at the table, 2 floaters; in 2008 they had 6.
Might just get out later and drive by some of the polling places and get a first hand look. This area seems to be heavily Republican. Very few Commurat signs.
Mitt Romney will be the 45th president & he will be one of the best presidents we have ever known. And Ann will be a FLOTUS that will make us all proud.
The first president I voted for was Ronald Reagan...and today I take with me my two sons, who are voting for the first time, to vote for Mitt Romney. I am so happy, so excited & so proud!
Voted early this morning to avoid the line tonight. Was #3 in my precinct (rural precinct, roughly 600 registered voters), but got there at 6:15. When I walked out at 6:35 line was 20 deep.
More Tweets:
Lots of Tweets from “People” who only seem to follow Barack Obama. Why is that, do ya think?
“If Romney gets elected, the world is screwed.”
I’ve seen this one repeated 20+ times by the same type of “people”:
If Mitt Romney win we all might as well pick teams for the hunger games.
From your keyboard to God’s ears, fedupjohn!
My wife and I will second your vote very soon. The town I’m in was wall-to-wall 0b0z0 against Hitlery in the 2008 primary. There was a celebration when 0h0m0 won the primary and a bigger one when he won the presidency.
Today, a couple of 0kaka/Bite me signs here and there!
fedup melancholy!
This just in from the local media:
According to the Newport News Registrar’s Office, the wrong Newport News precinct ballots were opened at BC Charles. The problem has since been corrected and the location is open for voting, according to the office.
If you experience voting problems like this, please email us at ReportIt@wavy.com.
This is a very republican precinct. Hopefully everyone who showed up to the closed precinct has time to go back now that it is open.

A white reporter with some stones should slip on a Romney/Ryan shirt and try to walk past the pampers into the polling place...gauge the reaction. (Of course, if the reporter isn’t ‘taken out’, remember to turn that shirt inside out...don’t want to get called out for electioneering.)
God bless everyone here for voting for LOVE OF COUNTRY (and a little revenge against O haha).
I am in Georgia where it is assumed Romney will win. It is raining hard in my area. I have injuries from a recent car accident and cannot drive.
I am still going to walk the mile and a half to my polling precinct today and pull the lever for Mitt Romney. Proudly.
We are the broken glass people - the other side has nothing.
We will win today.
Off to vote in Minnesota. Will vote a straight conservative ticket. We have work to do.
Matt Barber Tweet:
One word to describe Romney turnout today: “Chick-fil-A”
Voted early this morn in PA (Philly suburb). Long line at 7am.
Please follow me on Twitter at CA4MittRomney!
Go RomneyRyan2012....save us from 4 more years of hell!
Let there be a LANDSLIDE just for emphasis as we throw Obama out!

Avondale? Good Lord man did you go to the poll wearing a bullet proof vest? ;-)
Josh Kraushaar Tweet:
Overall, early vote turnout OH up 2.44% in state. Down -4.1% in Obama/Kerry counties; up 14.39% in Bush/McCain counties.
