The polls are open on the east coast!!
From this morning's election day prayer thread:
"Heavenly Father may you forgive this nation and its people for the many awful sins that we have commited against you. We do not deserve the wonderful ways we have been blessed and please forgive us for our indifference,neglect and complacency towards you. May you forgive us who are members of your Church who have neglected our calling and commitment to you to be effective witnesses and stewards of the many blessings you have generously bestowed upon us. Many of us have cried out to you for the past few years as never before and we humbly beseech you to bring an overwhelming, crushing defeat on the forces of darkness in our nation. First we pray that you quicken your Church by your spirit and lead us to unity to stand against the onslaught of darkness upon us. May you smash every crooked deed as evil men and women try to hold onto power and may this be so convincing that everyone knows that your hand is in this. Then we may bring the light of your Gospel to our people who do not know you and to the nations of the world.
May you block and undo every policy and piece of legislation they have passed that is harmful to this nation. May you make every policy they make fail and may you turn the hearts of the multitudes against them. May you thwart every evil deed they try to divide this nation with. May you bring their own mischief upon them ten fold. May you punish those in our government who are lawless traitors and enemies of the Constitution by exposing them and deliver them into our hands for justice. However we also pray that through this that you open their eyes to the truth and in your mercy that you bring these people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to serve as a witness to many. May you also use this to bring revival across our nation and a restoration of a culture that glorifies You. We also pray for those just leaders in our government who are struggling against the lawless. We pray for your protection and that you embolden them to do what is right to triumph in the election and in the arena of ideas. May you also continue to open the hearts and minds of the American people to the the truth and draw them towards yourself to be renewed in repentance and spiritual rebirth.
And this we humbly ask in Jesus name. AMEN!"

I was the guy getting irritated with people talking about having to overcome the fraud vote.
I’m convinced something very very bad was going down behind the scenes. It’s all so perfect, even the perception that it was all soooo close. Then when i saw Gibbs smurk on fox...I was convinced. Clearly team Romney is stunned, these guys have internal polling down to a science, these kind of shocks don’t just happen.
Sorry for the rant...just getting it off my chest. and while I’m add it, someone smack that damn smile of megyn face,.

Here’s the bottom line, all the Romney internal polls in Ohio as of yesterday were indicating a Romney win. The enthusiasm that many have talked about in areas of the state was real. Huge line ups and a large increase in republican turnout compared to 2008. Actually lower turnout for the democraps. What no-one seems to understand or will admit, is that in every swing state the voting rolls had been spiked with registrations gathered by groups like Acorn and other dempocrap groups. They have been sitting on the rolls since 2008, waiting to be used. They didn’t have to use them in 2008.
This time around they were all used through absentee ballots, early voting and voting today. The GOP was right to predict a comfortable victory and in the backrooms tonight and tomorrow they will realize they were had and they can’t do much about it, because the people who voted illegally were on the voting list “legally”
Romney gets NC. But Kaine wins in Va which has to be a bad omen for Romney in Virginia and he’s still behind in Florida. Ohio may not matter at all. At any rate Republicans win the House convincingly so there is a check on the Prince should Romney not run the board and the odds on that are slim but not zero.
How does Lee County in FL have only 79K for Romney when McCain won it 147K to 120.
What a wonderful reminder. We must all band together and pray for revival and direction. We cannot be scattered now.

Heck, I dunno. Just watch it happen I guess. I am just sick..I can’t believe the American people are this stupid. Oh well. Maybe the miracle will happen and we can still pull this out. I feel bad for the young people in this country who buy into the liberal love until they realize they can’t find jobs and have to pay huge tax bills. Sad sad.
I think you and I both know that the House won’t be any more of a check against Obama than it currently is if The One wins re-election.

I would argue that we are approaching “peak government.” Society is not evolving towards socialism and centralization it is being artificially driven in that direction by foolish and evil men and women. They have destroyed the very foundations of society. The economy is a shambles only held up by preposterously unsustainable debt and inflation. We create almost no wealth in this country. Children grow up Clockwork Orange style.
They may think they are building the centralized police state of their dreams but this country is becoming ungovernable not placid and easy to manage. The future will look more and more like 1984 until it starts looking like Mad Max. That day is really not that far off IMHO. A generation at the most.
No wealth + Lord of the Flies population = chaos.
