PITTSBURGH – Mitt Romney’s campaign always makes his arrivals in various cities known to the local media, and in turn the public, but never before has a crowd of this size shown up to greet him. Upon landing here in Pittsburgh, Romney’s aides appeared shock as they crowded around the windows to check out the crowd. And Romney was visibly moved at the site of the crowd, hundreds of supporters crammed into a parking structure just outside the airport. Check the ABC News Live Blog for updates throughout the day and results all night. Romney deplaned and walked toward a fence that separated him from the crowd, packed onto two levels of the garage. He waved to the group with his left hand and placed his right hand over his heart for several minutes as they cheered. Asked by ABC News how it felt to receive such a welcome, Romney turned and responded, “That’s when you know you’re gonna win.”

Off-topic question for everyone. I don’t want to start a vanity thread. Does anyone know how I can find the election night coverage thread on FR in 2008? I’ve tried all kinds of different search terms and I’m not finding it.
What's your source for this? I can't find it anywhere, except some site called YellowBullet.com, and it includes the "yes, I am shouting."

Thank you! I did start searching Google while waiting for a reply here. But, I used “Free Republic” and “election” and “2008.” I didn’t get anything.
My thoughts exactly. In fact I was very much opposed to Romney (although I still would have voted for him as ABO), but his stunning debate performances and going head to head & toe to toe against the commie muslim pig 0bama, convinced me we had a winnner here. FINALLY a republican who is able to debate & think at the same time.
