and the pro-D approx. 35% early voters haven`t been exit polled at all.

I'm pretty sure the pollsters work early voter polls into their "exit poll" numbers. The exit polls are supposed to reflect all voters. Of course that leaves more room for manipulation.

Both Gallup and Rasmussen have had Romney winning Virginia for sometime now. I like our chances.

If Mitt wins PA *and* OH, or one of them and some combo of MI, WI, MN (all 3 unlikely) he may not need VA. We sure could use it though, especially seeing as how we can pick up a Senate seat there too if things go right.

There are other scenarios involving CO, NV, IA, NH, etc. that would mean VA isn’t needed. But VA is supposed to be a far more ‘red’ state than many of those I mentioned.

I remember in 2000 Drudge putting the headline up that the French News Agency was declaring Gore the winner at 4PM US Central time ...based on exit polls....that didn’t work out

and in 2008 with Kerry up in every swing state ...and in PA by what? 19?

I heard Barone say the first exit polls showed Obama winning nationally with 63 percent of the vote....just 10 points off

so in other words don’t believe this crap ....and don’t believe that hype artist Drudge

Isn’t this what they said last night? They’d call it early to tamp down GOP voting.

Ok, some folks here need to understand the problem with "exit polls".

1) They are not taken at all polling places.

2) They rely only on those that participate.

3) They are based on nothing else.

Keep in mind that in 2004, the networks kept reporting that Kerry was clearly winning in the exit polls all the way up until Kerry gave his concession speech.

Several Colorado Democrats said they thought Romney would win the state. He was leading in early voting and the turnout today supports that. I also think we will win Iowa. Good turnout and all 4 major newspapers switched from Obama to Romney.
