Since I haven't seen one yet, I'll start it.
Like I've been saying, we are in shock and we will need to work it out. And then we have to get to work, stay together as conservatives and fight to regain our Freedom and Liberty..it's a never ending battle. What must the Greatest Generation think of THIS generation?....and all the men and women who lost their lives in wars, so that we may be free? I now know how my parents felt on December 7, 1941. The difference being, or course, that the enemy IS our government.
Well, there is a way to win elections in spite of fraud, and that is to win them so soundly that fraud is in vain.
Akin raised a dilemma. He clearly erred. Now what should the response be in such a case. I fear it became a circular firing squad in this case.
I did. People were willing to toss Akin under the bus in the hopes to salvage the campaign.
That didn’t work very well. Only two of the Senators we had up won, and we’ve got one hanging on in Nevada. We actually lost seats in a democrat heavy senate class.
We need to stick by conservatives who have principles like Akin. When the GOP cut Akin off, they handed Obama the election in spades.
Don’t you think they planned this? They wanted us to hurt ourselves, and the best way to do this is to get the moderates to backstab the conservatives.
Does Obama still get to blame everything on Bush or does he now have to blame it on his first four years?
I agree. My world will shrink. My sister is taking social security disability for some pseudo mental disease she claims she has. While I and my husband have been living in IRS hell trying to pay what they say I owe but don’t.
I have kept my mouth shut long enough about this. No more.
I also have a few other people in my life who are total idiots who don’t vote and have no idea what is going on. I am cutting these people out and telling them why.
Maybe it is not Christian of me, but I am sick and tired of my husband working his ass off to pay for their shit.

I will read more of my bible and pray. I need to reconcile this with God. I don’t like nor understand why this happened. I love my husband, my son, myself and I really want to trust God like I should. That is all I know right now.

My guess as to a possibility is that Obama may try to make Bush into the Herbert Hoover of his age. Or Obama may not bother. Prepare for as many illogical surprises as the North Koreans give us, if perhaps not quite as evil.
If being Christian were something you merely did for yourself and for your neighbors, then shoot yeah why not jettison it.
But if being Christian is something you do for a Savior who actually saves, then that’s not quite such a wise move.
Well, when it counted... Mitt got very shallow.
Maybe we didn’t miss all we thought we missed by missing out on President Mitt.
But we can’t single out just Mitt to dump on. The primaries. Why did more-live wires than Mitt get only anemic interest? People have lost a sense that the political matters. Well yeah it matters when it serves up dirty dogs and we did nothing to stop that.
I can well believe this is how you FEEL.
However when your intellect kicks back in, you will realize it’s only shallow scape goating, and exactly what the worst enemies of America want you to do.
The candidate that God had already chosen to win this election and restore this nation to righteousness happened to be one of those 50 million.
It’s friggin’ hard to beat an incumbent. When you are portrayed as a heartless 1%er (in the wake of the Occupy movement) and anti-woman and racist...Well you just ain’t gonna win.

If you have been lucky to have never questioned God about something that has happened in your life then I am truly happy for you.
I had an abusive evil mother who to be honest I was happy when told she was dead. I question God and have since I can remember about the horrific abuse I received.
I question what is happening now.
I love God and have read and studied the Bible. I have prayed that I work towards and that he gives me a more loving heart. Sometimes I am at peace, but other times like now, I am not.

If things are as bad as they are and Obama still won, we’re screwed in 2016 no matter who the Republican candidate is. Obama is clearly the most failed President in the history of the US and he still won. Jimmy Carter on steroids won. Romney should have had a win similar to what Reagan had against Carter but he didn’t. Romney, about the most capable candidate for president there has been in many years, lost to what is beyond a doubt, the worst, most divisive President in years. Next election is a fresh slate. My feeling is next election cycle will be a heavy democrat win. The house will be the last bastion of Republicans only because many house elections are in rural areas but any elections happening with major cities producing the majority vote will forever more be democrat/liberal and increasingly so. Next election, the senate will continue to go further democrat/liberal. Society has reached the tipping point.
Tell me I’m wrong.

Latinos and blacks will keep producing in infinite numbers and they almost all turn out to vote Democrat. Enough whites among the women, gays, union thugs and metrosexual men to add to that and be an unbeatable force.

In 2009, I left a good paying job and made Aliya to Israel, where I live hand to mouth. I’m glad I did that. Just about every day, I get a little more happy about that decision. Today I am a lot more happy. But my heart goes out to you all.

Divide, then concur. It’s quite simple really. I first expect a full out assault on speech, PACs (even tho they benefit DEMs too), association. They will expect us to conform and treat those who do not in ever increasingly inhospitable ways. Coerce the mild and apply extreme pressure to the strong until resistance is slight and absent cohesion. This must, of course be proceeded by one or a series of great crisis’, which any number of current conditions makes for handy deployment. I am now, and have been for some time convinced that the 2007 ‘bubble’ was but a lever waiting to be pulled. By precisely whom or how may never be known; is not wished to be known; and will intentionally be forgotten. None of this (IMHO) is the work of God, as many here have put forth. This is the work of evil human forces aligned against we the people. And we can now but watch it unfold before us, and pass on to our heritage this avoidable, long and painful decline, which only over the horizon we have yet seen with our eyes. They enrich themselves and those within their sphere perpetually with the wealth of this great nation. And we the people will be left with nothing but the decaying mess to clean up.
The real fright will be who steps in at that point to ‘save’ us. There will be no wishing for the rise of a George Bush, or a Regan at that point. This person, and their legions of useful idiots and enforcers, will not be like any that came before in our land. History will tie their names to the decline of the last ‘empire’, the ‘shining city on the hill’, broken and dull. Obama will have little claim to the title, for he is here only to set the stages and props.
I am not convinced that even with a Romney/Ryan victory this country could have actually been saved. That’s not knowable now, which is a tragedy that just breaks my heart. For I have slim doubt now that their defeat has indeed sealed our fate. The only question remaining is the rate of our republic’s decline.
This may be my last post here on FR. I came here nearly four years ago afraid and wanting to learn what I could do to help turn the direction back toward liberty. I LOVE the knowledge Freepers have offered me. Thank you! But we are too few. This is clear. And I am tired. I am just going to work, love, save and prepare as much as I can. The topic of politics now makes me sick to my stomach. This is so 2008 to me now.

Dig a little deeper and tell me sincerely, why Romney lost. Every republican, conservative, tea party, and most independent voter should have voted for Romney. Even with all those voter groups, it wasn’t enough for Romney to win even against a candidate he should have easily beaten.
Earlier I posted thoughts on what to do in the long term to regain a strong and healthy Republican party stature. It’s a start and something like these ideas need to be implemented now not later. I want conservatism to win so let’s work together ok.

In conclusion to the results of the 2012 Presidential Election:
The parasites have won and will soon overtake the ability of the body to survive.
An attempt at a cure failed and the disease is now free to rampage the body of remaining energy.
The disease moves forward because we have failed to devise a cure. The disease is not only the democrat but also the teacher, the union member, the public employee, the bum, the social services recipient, the media. It is a systemic disease.
The only way to fight it is to expand where we apply the cure.
Why do conservatives not go into education? Why do conservatives not show up at town meetings?
Conservatives/Republicans need to be engaging everywhere the democrats are. Our ideas need to be forced into the mainstream and not allow our ideas be brushed aside by those who have placed themselves and their ideals into positions of power.
Conservatives are real good at working and producing but not good at engaging in the schools where it starts.
Obama’s speaking and I feel I need to puke in my mouth hearing his BS.

All the Romney supporters here, everyone who cast a ballot for him believing he could defeat Obama was wrong.
They need to man up and take responsibility for their lack of judgement in choosing to back the wrong man who didn’t get it done.

What we saw yesterday was a spectacle. Days of early voting by rational people that went comfortably Mittward were countered by one Day Of The Zombie Voters.
Mitt mustered as much class as he could when he decided he did not want to fight with the skunk. Even if he won, he would not emerge smelling anything like a rose. What he did say was very telling. He believed in America and said so.
Sir, I still do not believe that the “””election””” mirrored the true aggregate will of the people of the country.
It was stuffed via methods ranging from questionable to outright fraud, and the Democrats knew exactly how much stuffing to do thanks to the early voting. And they knew that once Mitt conceded, their malfeasance would never be exposed to the light of day.
How has it been shown that any of these hypothetical what-ifs about the challenger would have evaded the problem? As long as armies of zombies are at the Democrats’ beck and call, they will come when beckoned and called.
Sadly, last night’s shocker of a defeat has made my prediction of a second American revolution or civil war not only possible, but LIKELY down the road.
And excuses like this are why you’ll lose next time out as well.
