Have not called MI or PA yet. 36 Electoral votes Obama MUST have and Conservatives are panicking all ready?
Sorry but Oh is not the only path to victory. He can lose PA, he can lose MI, he can lose WI and CO. THE ONLY people who want you to think OH is key are those who want to call for the election for O yesterday.

The notion that Romney would cruise to a landslide win disappeared when Chris Christie played Judas on us. Most realized that. Morris doubled down.
I still think it is possible Romney could win a close one tonight, but there is zero chance of a landslide in his favor, and that has been obvious for some time.

Upthread advice to go local for better news than FOX cable worked for me. I have local Fox on and Shep Smith just had Liz Cheney on, AB Hill and Ed Sourpuss Rollins.
FOX cable is waaay to morose and downright boring with the ditz blonde, who has NO political acumen whatsoever. They lack their old heavy weights and power guests. Monica Crowley had more interest than the entire FOX panel.

Can someone explain something re: Ohio... Are the tallies we’re seeing at present (O 57 R 42) the early voting numbers? If so, this is way below Obama’s expected strength in the early voting. Do I have this right?
See my post 34 in this thread. Prince William County, one of the outer suburban DC counties, apparently doesn’t have enough voting machines and people have waited 4 hours in line to vote and are still there (polls closed at 7:00 ET). Now I know Prince William County has grown like mad because it’s in the DC suburbs, but how do you screw up so badly you don’t have enough voting machines and have to leave the polls open until midnight?
(BTW, PW used to be dependably Republican but has been overrun with immigrants and government workers.)

We have waited 4 years we can wait a couple more hours. Rove was very positive from what he was seeing for early vote vs what will come in later. I like our chances.

Florida 1 point difference. Media might try doing what they did in 2000 ,calling Florida for Gore and so causing many in the panhandle to get out of voting line and not vote(remember?): hence the hanging chad fiasco. HOLD THE LINE! stay in voting line do not believe the media.

Yeah it is. It evenly split. Just called NC for Romney STILL have not called MI or PA for 0. VA has to keep the polls open because they have so many people in line expcially in SW VA.

One of the networks showed a close up of Northern Virginia. The commentators expressed surprise that Northern Virginia was a sea of red, when they all expected it to be blue.
VA looks promising for Romney.

Romney will win here in NC, I’ve never felt much doubt about that. Obama barely pulled this state out in ‘08 despite a massive black turnout and he’s not getting nearly that enthusiasm again. I’m more worried about my beloved native Old Dominion (Virginia) than I am about NC.
