Chris Christie blasts ‘know-nothing, disgruntled Romney staffers’

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie on Tuesday slammed the “know-nothing, disgruntled Romney staffers” who in a Huffington Post story on Monday accused him of snubbing Mitt Romney by skipping Sunday’s rally in Pennsylvania.

Christie, a vocal backer of Romney, said during a press conference that he told the Republican presidential nominee before Hurricane Sandy hit that he would likely be unavailable for the rest of the campaign.

“I said to him, ‘Listen, Mitt, if this storm hits the way I think it’s going to, I’m off the campaign trail from here to Election Day,’ ” Christie recalled. “And he said to me, ‘Chris, of course. That’s what you have to do. Do your job. Don’t worry about me. I’ll take care of things.’ So all this other noise, I think, is coming from know-nothing, disgruntled Romney staffers who, you know, don’t like the fact that I said nice things about the president of the United States. Well, that’s too bad for them.”

Mitt has been most courteous and gracious toward Christie. I doubt it was “Romney staffers”; it’s more likely just us Republican voters who think Christie has been overly kissy-face toward Obama. A simple “thank you, Mr. President” would have sufficed, and not so much photo-ops and huggy effusive bragging on a President who has not done anything but CAMPAIGN in the face of big crises; not a darn thing better or more than President Bush did in Katrina. I hope Christie will just announce that he’s seen the Democrat light like the RINO’s usually do - and be done with it.

While I'm on record at being quite steamed and a little nauseated by Christie's behavior--

HIS STATE IS A DISASTER AREA. HE'S GOT ANOTHER STORM COMING. HIS STATE IS NOT IN PLAY.

It is not reasonable to expect a lot of campaigning out of him!

(And why cry over a stupid, effeminate rock stat, Chris? Ewwwww)

Pour a little MORE gas on those bridges, Christie.

So much for that Attorney General gig.

“Christie, a vocal backer of Romney. . .”

But an ACTUAL backer of Bronco.

Wish I could paste an image of Bugs Bunny, leg-hugging and begging for his life with sweat flying off his brow.

Sheesh...it's hard to believe that a guy who takes a taxpayer funded helicopter to get to his son's litle league game (and needs a car to travel the last 100 yards)...would be such a tool (rolling eyes)

If I was to choose a word to describe Christie it would be “disgruntled.” He’s off the deep end.

Christie didn't have to endlessly praise Obama nor go on a romantic walk with the communist Muslim Obama. Christie didn't even have to acknowledge Obama. Liberal Bloomberg didn't even allow Obama into new york so Christie didn't have to do anything at all much less his October surprise. Christie and Obama 2 pos

The only reason he was nice to Obama was to get in with Springstein. It’s shallow but it’s the way I see it. It’s also a way to keep obamamedia off his back.

Christie was off the Romney campaign trial.

He decided to hit the campaign trial with 0bama, and his praise was both effusive and embarrassing. What a RINO!
