This Is The Last Time
Vanity | 11/07/12 | Veritas2002

Posted on 11/06/2012 11:39:37 PM PST by veritas2002

This is the last time I will be voting in a national election. I am in my 60's and have concluded that, if this is the kind of governing Americans want, they should have it...and all its consequences.

Sour grapes you say? Perhaps. But after four years of the most abysmally failed government with consistently high unemployment, 16 trillion dollars in national debt, downgrading of our bonds and monetary system with printing of dollars by the Fed, attacks against freedom of religion, a loss of American leadership in the world, class warfare, homosexuality embedded in our fabric, our nuclear family deconstructed by government policies, gun running to Mexico and lies about it before Congressional hearings, refusal to protect Americans serving in our embassies across the globe, an energy policy that has tripled the price of gasoline at the pump, a Justice Dept that treats people not according to an equal application of the law but according to politics, a politicized press that is derelict in adequately informing the people about its government, attacks against free markets and capitalism, and on and on and on...

If given all this, the American electorate is either too blind to see or thinks that this exemplifies good government, then have at it. Just count me out.

But, some day perhaps people will wake up. My guess is that it will be too late and things most cherished - civic values long held dear - will be gone forever.

In the meantime, this retiree will collect his pension and social security and together with savings watch those younger and smaller in number figure out how they will pay for all the 'government hand-outs' and supportive services the 'baby boomer' generation that is about to retire will require. All the time doing so without the tax revenue on the income they earned while working. They will have to figure out how they, a very much smaller cohort of taxpayers will make up the difference.

They will need to come up with some better ideas than one Barack Obama and his list of accomplishments from 2008 to present. Good luck but you won't be seeing me at the polls ever again. It's been a ride. Adios, Americanos.

I’ll still vote but somehow tonite I’m thinking I won’t be encouraging any young men or women to re-up and fight for this country anymore. Let the ZeroZombies go instead.

The left felt the same way you do in 2004 when Bush was reelected and looked what happened. The next election (soonest chance they had) they elected the most liberal president America has ever had.

Giving up is just what they want us to do. I won't give them that satisfaction and neither should you.

Well....my take is, with the debt that 'our' politicians have saddled us with,
the fiscal/financial cliff looming just over the horizon,
the 'reconquista' at full steam, flash mobs galore,
firearm sales at a all-time high, 'prepping' becoming white Christian middle-class peoples new favorite hobby, a sense of impeding doom in the air as more & more people wake up to the realization that politicians & bankers have just about ruined our economy
(Weimar or Zimbabwe dollars anyone?)...
Its just as well that Ø has re-taken the helm of the 'Titanic' that used to be our country.

It’s a sorry state of affairs. But the nation needs your help to get the GOP on the right track or form a new party if we can’t. Don’t give up. And don’t get so emotional because our liberal lost tonight. The outcome tonight was going to be bad any way you looked at it.

Welcome to the biggest party in the United States, the more than 100,000,000 voters who...don’t vote.

Gosh, wonder what would happen if someone actually campaigned towards the biggest non-voting block in the world.

You are correct, those who could not see that Obamacare is to weed out those most in need, are just stupid & lazy! All they care about is what they can get free. What they don't understand is socialism never works.

As for another election, I doubt there will be a need for one. Bozo has used executive order to bypass the senate & the constitution numerous times already, he will just declare himself dictator & no one will object, surely not the spineless republicans in office!!!!!

Personally. I’d like to just hand the House over to the Dems to so they can get a nice fat 4 years of what they want.

Boehmer's gotcha covered.

Personally, having a GOP House is the ONE GOOD THING out of this election. You have Obama now re-elected, but a GOP House can stop Democrats from going wild.

It’s rather academic at this point. We don’t even know if there will be elections in the future.

This guy has our utter destruction in his head, and can’t see anything else.

I hate to be the one to break this to you, but they’ve already won.

In four years, you’ll be looking back on today as the good old days.

Between Obama, his inJustice Department, and the EPA, this nation hasn’t got a prayer.

Oh we do have one chance. John Bonner is his name. I rest my case.

Monday I was thinking about just this subject and how people back then
had no earthly idea what they were about to get into.

It seems that human nature over the span of time, and even with the newest technology,
can still continue to make the same old mistakes over and over again.

It’s not us real Americans . We vote for small government and freedom, Republicans etc. The foreign immigrants (mostly hispanic ) and blacks make together up now around 30% of the population. then you have the media which adds about 15% points. so you have at least 40% right there and all there needs to be is 20% white liberals to have a solid majority for socialism/democrats/tyranny. It’s us vs them and until we realize that it’s not our fault this is an invasion aided by traitors inside our country as in the liberals in the media. this is a war and we have to realize that first of all and unite us real Americans.

Not trying to pick on you. I’m not certain the House will be able to block this guy. He’s hooked on the opium of Executive Orders, and he can basically rule as a dictator if he wants. The people who elected him are convinced he has a mandate, and should be able to do anything he wants.

Who will stand in the way of that? John Boehner?

If he does effectively, I’ll be amazed.

I don’t, that is our money and our rights they have criminally voted to do away with. An act by a majority in select states which amounts to a deceleration of war upon the rights of man.

Leave the house of reps in the hands of republicans insist that no bills be past and nothing gets done. We need the time to gather our forces and move our people to the free lands in preparation for a separation from the cancerous criminal majority bits.

No national election is of any consequence any more because the “national” majority is corrupt, but our local majority and people still host a great many patriots.

Combine them with the patriots of the north and we have a real country of free men like that of our founders. So let us build that country of free men and women!

granted, we have the shallow idiots who will give the jerk their vote....but they were outnumbered until the fraud kicked in...

but if no one fights it, why vote?

What would Winnie do?

Well I'm 55 and I sure ain't giving up though I will be less obsessive till 2014

I have faced far more adversity than this jackass getting reelected

two open hearts, shot, robbed, left by my ex wife but paid thru the nose for 15 years, dealing with dying parents..hard, serious crap life in the balance stuff I ain't going into here most folks only see in movies...and I am not exaggerating

hell...this sux but it ain't shite

you need to cowboy up..quitting is for quitters

with a username like yourn

it's like working...I will never quit

I got kids to feed and protect and wife at home

one day folks could fight and die over this crap

the entitlements, the regional strife, the undertone of race and legitimacy and this bitter roil towards White Christians here

I ain't quitting...I just wish I was younger...if bloodshed comes I hate leaving my boys to it...but they will be informed...and armed

but you enjoy it

we'll let you know how it goes

I ain't living for retirement or all that crap I paid in same as you all my life

there ain't but one ride here my man...and i have always been the one to reach for it...ain't noting changing that

fact is... i am surrounded literally by folks just like me down here...we be galvanized

this is where it's going...self segregation

this is a new Reconstruction the left has in mind...we bucked that last one too mind ya

God willing

(sorry for language Don...off the reservation tonight)

I’m with you. I’m done with it all. If the republican party can’t convince the blacks that the democrats only want to keep them dependent on government, and they can’t attract the hispanic vote, then what use is it to keep supporting them? They are going no where! With the record that Obama had, we should have been able to win big time.
I’m done.

One needn’t worry about Obamacare and not getting healthcare services needed if you’ve been diligent and have saved your money (unlike most of the young who haven’t a dime to their name).

There are off-shore medical facilities - cash only in many cases - provided by American trained MDs ad others for cardiac, orthopaedic and all sorts of other medical services required by older people like us.

Also, I’d like to hear more about taking money off shore to protect it.
