Because what tonight’s election showed is that the American electorate has degraded very, very badly in the last decade. Exit polling indicates that this electorate was a D+6 electorate. 38 percent Democrat, 32 percent Republican. I didn’t think that was possible. I was wrong. Obama ran and won with an atrocious record, without anything remotely resembling a positive agenda for a second term, with a campaign based on lies, slander and hatred. That’s what he ran on. And that’s what he won on.

That’s sad when offering bailouts and unlimited money and handouts is the most appealing way to go, but that’s what the other side did. And frankly, as much as we’d like to try, none of the other candidates could have made much of a difference. Sure, you can be an aggressive debater, or be a decent person, but it’s pretty messed up when offering the free handouts is the winning strategy in America and around the world.
It’s the media. It has ALWAYS been the media. It’s a two against one fight before we even start.

The demographics Reagan faced were very different from today. Mexicans were over 10% of the electorate for the first time today. They were 75% Obama.
How many Somalis voted? How many moslems are here voting now?
There has also been an explosion in the number of unmarried women since 1980 who want a president for a husband.
And though we may not like it, the kids born since 1990 were educated and indoctrinated that homosexuality is almost sacred. They feel the same about abortion.
The huge majority of them will never deviate from this belief. They are the modern version of the 80 year olds who vote democrat for 6 decades because the love FDR.

Completely true article. Wow it really did turn out to be a DEM +6 electorate. We mocked the polls that showed that.
I have a 19 year old the same way. So im sure you are familiar with the way a frightening percentage of their age group thinks.

I was listening to a liberal show on election day. The callers were complaining about voter suppression,romney owning voting machines

But, quite frankly, it is our fault.
Conservatives surrendered on immigration, social issues, the wussification of America, and appeasing our enemies a long time ago.
Honestly, at this point, a counter-revolution is impossible.
We are going to destroy ourselves like Europe did.
The fact is illegals are going to get their amnesty and we won’t be nothing but a 3rd world hellhole and a province of Mexico in a generation.
Considering how bad our education system is, the break down of the family, and gayification of our society, we are totally aligned with the perfect storm of self-destruction.

GOP has lost almost the entire social agenda, across the board. Not because of Romney, who can advocate conservative social agenda in sane way (able to persuade some people)
GOP lost the agenda because of clowns like Murdoch and Akin. Murdoch and Akin were the best weapons Dems had in this election. They cost GOP the presidency, their own seats, plus number of other seats that were lost.
Acfually, I don’t know if any’s republic could have won. The free lunch is alive and well. Atlas is shrugging. Who is John Galt?
