This morning I am on the same page as you. If this is what the United States of America want then so be it. I will put my energies into my faith in God and Family. I don’t recognize my Country any longer and am mourning Her being lost, probably forever this day.

America’s biggest problem isn’t fiscal decay; it’s moral decay. We’ve institutionalized child sacrifice, infidelity, homosexuality, indolence and irreverence. America won’t be blessed as it was until it changes. And that won’t happen unless it suffers and wakes up.

One thing to consider - the hyperinflation financial wipeout in our future will likely happen on barry’s watch. After that, democrats won’t be electable for at least two generations.

I am in my 60's and have concluded that, if this is the kind of governing Americans want, they should have it...and all its consequences.

Amen. Let the youth reap what they have sown...'social justice', you little SOB's...enjoy it.

You may be confusing the difficult with the impossible. It would take an extraordinarily wise and skilled candidate, but it is possible to convince people that they cannot keep expecting free stuff from the government and expect a healthy economy. I hope that, if such a candidate emerges, you will vote for him, because he will need every vote that he can get.

We may have just had the last election anyway. The next time we want hope and change we will have to vote from the roof tops.

My Grandfather told me that every other person you meet on the street are morons. I am now totally convinced of that assessment. I have nothing in common with over half the people in the United States.

He speaks my words also. Forty years ago I protected our country loading nukes in foreign lands to prevent the spread of Communism and Kruschev was right we were defeated last night from within.

Unless you can flee to some other shore, I'm afraid that (as Gregory Peck said to David Niven), "You're in it now, up to your neck!" Most of us are in the same boat.

Hell, I'm only 56 and I've already got what a late friend referred to as "old cop's disease": I'm tired of people. Really tired of them the last two months, and DAMNED tired of them this morning. Will I vote again? Don't know; we'll see. There's nothing a vulture hates more than biting into a glass eye, and playing the role of glass eye opposite the vultures among us may be the only recreation left to me.

I agree entirely. My vote no longer counts. It has been replaced by the illegal alien vote that both parties covet.

Last night I went to bed at 9:30 p.m. ET convinced that the disappointment I saw in the trending voter results was just the latest in a long string of disappointments I have endured over the past four years. To some extent I guess I have gotten used to it because I slept like a baby. At 9:30, to any observer of events involving Obama, it was apparent that it was all over. Just the latest example of the guy being untouchable and unstoppable. What it means for the country is that we are much farther down the road to communism than we have been willing to admit. I am reminded of a statement by Orly Tatz, which she made early on as her string of losses began to mount in the lawsuits challenging Obama’s eligibility. She said arguing before corrupt judges reminded her of growing up in the old Soviet Union and trying to fight the entrenched statists. She likened it to banging her head against a brick wall. Common sense, reason, and the law meant nothing. You could argue with the statist until you were blue in the face. You could have all the facts and law on your side and at the end the statist would overrule you as if nothing you said meant a thing.
It's time we face the cold hard reality and recognize that this is where we now are as a Country.

Though the human spirit will never surrender to this kind of iron fist rule, it sure diminishes and depresses the quality of life. One thing is for certain, history keeps repeating itself and for some reason people have to lose their precious freedoms before they realize how valuable they are. Look how easy it has been for us to lose ours. While we were going about on our merry way, the Communists crept in and took over. The defining moment was when ignorant, dumb struck Americans blindly voted for an ineligible Marxist imposter in 2008. Now they have repeated this self destructive act. What more can you say? History teaches us that once dictators gain the upper hand it is easy for them to manipulate people and events, which explains to an extent these latest election results. At this point regaining our personal freedoms is not at all certain. What we do know following this election is that our freedoms are not going to be regained through conventional means.

But, this wasn’t Democrats turning out to vote. According to Drudge, so far Romney/Ryan have received 6-million fewer votes than McCain/Palin.
