Time To Make Paul Ryan Speaker of the House
11/7/12 | Armybratproud

With concern that the current Speaker of the House will cave on issues such as the debt limit, it is time to make Paul Ryan Speaker of the House. Please contact your U.S. Representative.

What a great idea you have just come up with!

Excellent idea! Almost anyone would be better than Weeper of the House Boehner.

Ryan better get rid of those liberal leanings that rubbed off Willard onto him in the last few months...

We need a Conservative leader in the House...

Yes, he kept his name on the ballot and kept his seat. That is an excellent idea about speaker.

I heard on the radio that he won his seat.

Yeah. After shortly returning to the House and voted for more funding of Obamacare and other bipartisan stuff (to read: other legislation rammed by Obamathugs!)

Nice gift for contributing so much to the campaign, right?

No. A new name will be better.

That sounds like a great idea, but Paul Ryan is too much the nice guy to run against Speaker Boehner. Maybe if Boehner retires it’ll happen.

I like him for speaker, but I am surprised he hedged his bet for VP. Well, we’re better off for it.

I don’t have a representative.

Good luck, though.

I like your thinking. By-Pass Bonehead AND Cantor.
Make Ryan Speaker!

If he was qualified to be President of the Senate, he should be eminently qualified for this position.

He can always “run” for the job at the start of the next session, but of course it depends on TPTB...

Reince Preibus, Walker and Ryan were the three Wisconsin horsemen who were supposed to save the party. Walker didn't get Right To Work through the Wisconsin legislature; Preibus, joined to walker at the hip, just managed to lose the presidential race worse than McCain; and now you want to put Ryan in charge of the House after he got through failing to come through for the team?

Naw, he needs more seasoning.

BTW, the Speaker of the House need not be a member ~ they can pick who they wish. I can think of a dozen people I'd rather see in there.

Boehner needs to be retired. The center of Republican power is the House, and based on past performance Boehner is not up to the challenge of resisting the left.

Boehner has to go, and he can take McConnell with him.

I think you would lose the House in 2 years if you did that.

I give Ryan credit for trying to balance the budget. But his approach was entirely wrong. He focused on cutting entitlements instead of getting people back to work. Get people back to work, you have a lot more money for entitlements even as you have less demand for entitlements.

Put Ryan is tainted as cold hearted at this point, and until you overcome that, you can’t put him in as speaker of the house without that same taint extending to all GOP.

Yep ... any of the three guys that run the garbage truck out here would be a HUGE improvement over Boehner.
