INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A spokesperson with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office says an intruder who was fatally shot on the city's west side on Oct. 26 was shot in a case of self defense.

Police received a call that someone had kicked in the door of a residence in the 7600 block of Wyckford Court.

Officers found one person fatally shot and IMPD later identified him as Clint Anderson , 31.

Police officials say there were children at the home, but none were injured.

The Prosecutor’s Office says the shooter was not the ex-girlfriend who had a protective order against him.

It has not yet been revealed who pulled the trigger.

I appreciate your kind words. These are indeed dark days. We must all reach out to each other and remind each other that we are not alone. I am praying more.

Remember, our parents and grandparents went throught the great depression and WWII. We can survive this and find a better place on the other side. Conservatives are by nature better prepared to weather storms than leftists or statists.
