I’m down in Philly and we call them N’oreasters. All along the coast north of the NC/VA border, when these storms start intensifying just off the Carolina coastine, the winds start to pick up from the Northeast and then gradually start shifting around counterclockwise as the storm moves up the coast.
The Almighty is keeping his promises. Prepare for more smiting--or repent.
The “bank bailouts” were nothing but New York City bailouts.
As the center of the liberal socialist universe, they severely need a lot of reality therapy.

Amazing how people get attuned to shifts in the wind, it’s temp and moisture level and I suspect even a bit of electricity in the air somehow.
Next the libs will come out with a TV ad with a concerned grandmother saying to her grandchild: "I remember when snowstorms never needed to be named, but that was before Bush and the republicans came into power"
I so badly for those poor people who did not have the money to reestablish themselves elsewhere and ended up in flooded houses or shelters. The cost of housing is so high in NYC. They are going to suffer more with this storm.
Screw them. They voted for The One, let The One save them.
Yep, they have Fat Man and Little Boy to bail them out.
