332,754 Votes Would Have Secured a Romney Victory
Quora ^ | November 8, 2012 | Richard Tabassi

Posted on 11/08/2012 1:59:35 PM PST by CreviceTool

Ran across this on Quora: What is the minimum number of people who would have had to change their vote for Romney to have won?

Richard Tabassi, Renaissance Ape, Occasionally Witty Biped

Around 1/3 of a million in the right states. [1,2,3,4] EC 18:Ohio[1] Romney needed 103,520 people to win EC 29:Florida[2] Romney needed 50,869 people to win EC 13: Virginia[3] Romney Needed 111,985 people to win EC 6: Nevada[4] Romney Needed: 66,380 to win

Total: 332,754 to win Electoral College

There might be a combination that get him there in a shorter amount that I am not seeing yet, will update when I have time to crunch more numbers.

The way the dems operate, they merely meet our turnout and win with their fraud machine.

Turnout is always important, but unfortunately, they have that covered.

RE :”Actually Rush warned way back in December that nominating moderate Mitt would lose the election.

That guy is sooo smart. He is always right just as he says.

Rush: Everything But Polls Say Romney Landslide (Monday, 05 Nov 2012)

Ignore the polls Rush Limbaugh Says, Swing State Polls Are Bogus! (video posted 9/26/2012 )

He said McCain would win too.

There are a couple of more states that can still be carried by Romney like Wisconsin.Right now there are 205,000 votes difference, but there are still 545,000 absentee votes out.In Iowa there is a difference of 88,500 votes with 168,000 absentee ballots to be counted.in the state of Maine there is a gap of just over 100,000 votes with 188K absentees out.Get this,in Michigan there were OVER 1.2 million absentee ballots sent out and the vote was only 205,000 apart! 99,200 abs.ballots were requested in New Mexico, the vote total there as of today is 76,400 apart! As the intent of this story goes, there is more than enough of a chance for this to still happen if we can put enough lawyers, poll watchers, thugs,or what ever we have to have in place to guarantee the safety of the votes that have not been destroyed,YET.

I knew Romney would lose too but I was promoting him as well.

Little moderate toadies like you would have been screeching bloody murder if he or anyone else had said otherwise.

NOW you are saying that you knew Romney would lose but were saying he would win anyway like Rush was in his comments?(to make me happy when I cant stand liberal Romney)
That is downright decetful.
I guess if the RINO party nominated Hillary you would drink that Koolaid too.

So let me try the understand your Rush imaginary world:

Earlier this year he says Romney will lose to O, as you posted.

Then later this year he says all the polls are lies and that Romney will win in a landslide. (so just listen to him.)

Now he says Romney lost because there is no hope too many libs (so just buy Rush 24-7 and buy the products he hawks on his show) .

And you throw stones?

Just tell yourself whatever you need to tell yourself.

You were right there attacking anyone who spoke out against Mitt St Jesus.

Reap what you sowed and choke on it.

RE :”You were right there attacking anyone who spoke out against Mitt .”

Wow you really are a deceitful liar with no conscience who will say anything.

Here was my tag for the last few months while you were carrying Romneys water even though now you say you knew he would lose:

We got ALL the ‘ Romney is winning in a landslide ’ posts (AKA ‘the polls have been all wrong’ posts)
The ‘ Vote for Romney now or we all die ’ posts
Here is the ‘ Obama will declare victory EARLY to make R voters give up ’ post.)

ya know, we got bashed daily/hourly for weeks and months on end for simply stating that we couldnt carry water for the mittens...

we never asked or demanded that those folks who thought they must hold their noses, not do so, *or else*, yet we were attacked for stating the fact that we would no longer be taken for granted on the reservation...

at the same time, anybody that was honest, knew that mittens wouldnt be able to beat the bambam unless he ran a scorched earth campaign and engaged in a street fight, which he didnt appear to be capable of doing, at least not vs a fellow progressive traveler...

and here we are, in hindsight, still being fed moronic talking points that have been proven to be the bunk that we all knew they were, expected to apologize or feel guilty that a homo loving, anti gun, anti CHRIST, advocate of infanticide lost to his big brutha of another mutha...

give it a rest and decide which principles that YOU pissed away on the alter of fear, which undercut our ability to force the hands of the rin-o-p wannabe masters, and how to regain those principles, if they even matter in truth...

But you know what the biggest joke is?

That we got bashed for not carrying water and then later having an utterly contempable character here who admits that he did carry MRs water later accuse you of forcing him to do it.. .. and accuse you of doing the same as he says he did. Is this downright sleazy or what?

Shouting down or driving away those who spoke unpopular truths didn’t create winners. It created surprised losers.

wow...then why did the mittbots do it ???

i dont have the time nor inclination to re-post all the bs that was thrown around here...suffice it to say that my position and simple truth stayed the course, and the fear that gave us mittens, and by extension, bambam part II, was carried in the same water bucket that you toted...

I had no ilusions to be surprised about, bambam was a done deal the day the last man standing wore magic undies...

hehehehe..."WE" finally have a chance to wash the bs off our hip waders now...or so i thought...

now it seems that "we" will still be the villians, which i guess shouldve been expected, since we didnt do our part to drag the prog-lite candidate across the line...

CC has completely screwed himself on this thread all because he was looking for a frustration punching bag and he picked the wrong one.

He says he always knew Romney would lose

He says he carried Mittswater anyway

He says those of us (me) who refused to join him in Mitt Koolaid forced him to do it (support Mittons) because we daily attacked those (unlike him) who didnt sell out.
So his point is I attacked myself and that scared him into supporting Mitt. Is this not the most idiotic point you have read here yet?

How the hell was I going to attack other freepers who were critical of mItt when my tagline was “Romney is still a liberal, just watch him’??

See what being a jerk gets you?

Back in the waning days of winter and early spring when common sense prevailed for me, I did think Romney would have a very difficult time confronting Obama as a Conservative. I didn’t see him as one. Particularly on the issue of Obamacare, I thought he was neutered.

I do believe our party picked the wrong nominee. I also believed that the RNC preferred it.

Once that is done, there are two choices, well three actually. You can take a pass on voting. You can vote for him. You can vote for a third party. (I’m just ignoring the idea we could vote for the Democrat here. Not an option.)

I will tell you that I found it very difficult not to vote against a guy like Obama, by giving in and voting for Romney. I did so.

You’ll never hear me giving someone grief for having not voted. I think that WAS the moral thing to do. I know I had to bend mine to back Romney, and to a certain degree, that IS immoral.

By this time, we all know what each other was advocating for over the last six months. We know inside what we wound up doing. Now we live with that.

To those who didn’t vote for Romney or Obama, I salute you. I am sorry it came down to that. It never should have.

In 2016 I hope we are not presented with this situation again. If we are, it will probably turn out the same way. If it doesn’t, it will be just as ugly.

We are members of a political party whose leadership keeps getting it’s way, and whose membership is melting away faster than a surprise 2” snow in early July.

whew...i thought i was reading him wrong, and couldnt decide if thats what was actually being posted... but that was my take as well...

we had no illusion of mittens winning, unless of course he actually was/is very different than the bamster in record/ideology...if he was, he wouldve acted and campaigned to win, and couldve easily won... but alas, we knew his efforts were going to most likely be nothing more than a warm body, and fully expecting us to have no choice but to hold noses at the last minute...

we warned you and the rin-o-p establishment to not assume we would fall in line this time...

not my problem that you sold yer soul for a tool like mr magic underoos of kolob...

at least have the decency to be a man and own yer own loser candidate...

and just for the record, bambam vs mittens isnt the cause of our swirling of the bowl, they are THE results of decades worth of turning away from God and seeking idols/men to save us from ourselves...

again, NO illusions of a political messiah were on our minds, only the possibility of a temporary reduction in the tidybowl currents...
