Why couldn’t he have simply said, “until such time as we have the votes to repeal it, it is the law. I will continue to hope that one day we do have the votes but until such time, I am bound to obey the laws passed by congress, as disreputable as they may be.”

Exactly. In this land of ours.. NOTHING is permanent. Anything can be repeaeled, moved changed. At anytime.

My point above was just to let him acknowledge the truth....

Worse things are coming very rapidly. I agree that the above is a rational statement, but I suspect that Congress may have to keep their powder dry for much more “Unlawful” Shenanigans from this WPOS President

He could simply point out that, while ObamaCare may be the Law of the Land, the Republic simply cannot afford it, and therefore, the House does not see fit to appropriate the funds to implement it (15,000 extra IRS agents pound sand, add to recession jobless claims, LOL). Pass it on a party line vote, and there's no appeal.
