Within a work shift, I could drive from DC to NY and back. No word of lines in Philly, why don't they just drive there with some cans if they have around 90 miles left on the tank? The gas isn't that far away.

These are residents of *BLUE* states. If they were smart enough to figure that solution, New York and New Jersey would be red states, now wouldn’t they?
I live in a town that has gas shortages, complete with lines.
Drive 10 minutes up the road and I can buy all the gas I want.
