Awkward first press conference for senator-elect Warren

A jittery U.S. senator-elect Elizabeth Warren gave one-sentence answers, ducked questions and even passed one on to Gov. Deval Patrick in an awkward first press conference since the election.

Warren spoke for a total of less than four minutes during the 11-minute press conference — the rest was taken up by Patrick and reporters’ questions

After being asked her first question — how she’d protect defense spending — Warren was silent as she turned to Patrick.

“Defense spending is you,” Patrick prodded Warren.

Dim Bulbs like Warren are the unintended consequence of the 17th Amendment to the Constitution. Now to win a Senate seat, all you have to do is out promise your opponent just as in th eHouse of Representatives. A superRepresenative really. Is she really any different from Thad Cochran or John McCain or Barbra Boxer and oh so many others over the past 95 years. Theo Bilbo for God’s sake. No,she has a lot of company in Washington and will fit right in.

The clip I just saw her did not include any questions asked of her from reporters. Maybe the original video has been pulled. She definitely needs to get to the gym soon. Her posture is terrible! If she doesn't have osteoporosis she is more than likely osteopenia!

As the woman who claimed to be the intellectual force behind the Occupy Wall Street movement she turned out to be not very smart.

BTW, who gives up a $365,000 a year job teaching 1 class a semester for a 24/7 thankless job that pays almost half and she can’t use her fake law license to practice illegally. Not the brightest bulb in the box.

Congress is the only job where people spend millions to get a job that pays thousands - for a reason.....
