God does not change. It is us who change to invite the inevitable bad things.

If you choose to step off the cliff on to the sharp rocks below it is not God’s fault that those rocks killed you.

I don’t believe G-d curses anyone.

Here is just a sample of God's curses.

Ge 12:3* And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
De 11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
(The Jews fell afoul of this curse and God allowed them to be taken to Babylon. See 2 Kings.
De 21:23* His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
(Jesus was hung from a tree and became a curse. "Ga 3:13* Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:")
Pr 3:33* The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

The Bible is clear, God curses.

The rich can afford to pay and it wil be the Middles class and the Obama voters that will die.

Just wait until they find out that Mammy doesn’t get any more treatments after 74 yo.

Can I ask what led you to Deuteronomy 28, Red Badger?

I believe it is only in the old Testament that “G-d cursed/curses” is used directly, and that conforms with the new testament scriptual choices you gave.

“Genesis 12:3, Proverbs 3:33, Malachi 2:2, Genesis 19:24-25”

Yes, I know. Now find me one in the New Testament; and not just a reference to “a curse”, “he was cursed”, or similar, but “G-d cursed.....”.

“Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee”

find one in the New Testament, O.K.

Ultimately they won’t even wait till we get sick. Except that all we need is one Rush Limbaugh or Marco Rubio type to finish the narrative—that Obama is a crook from Chicago. Had Tony Rezko got up on the wrong side of bed one day in ‘07 - ‘08 Barry would be in prison now or just getting out.

I suppose if you don’t believe in prophecy it doesn’t matter but here’s some references from the NT.

Matthew 24:9 – “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.” Rev. 20:8 – “And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.” The results of coming against Israel are quite clear to anyone who wants to see.

You make a false distinction between old/new testament. God has not changed. Jesus came not to destroy the law and the prophets, but to fulfill.

The curse of Genesis 12:3 is still in effect. All the true children of Abraham (Gal 3:7ff) have this promise. The only way to avoid God’s curse is to continue in ALL the works of the law. Only the man of faith can do this, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. (Gal 3:12,13).

Every unsaved person at this very moment is under God’s curse.

America has already been under a curse for among such things as 52M dead infants at the hands of their mothers.

Obama is just the beginning of the penalty of that curse, more to come.

Those who traded liberty for "security" and soon "tyranny!"

Matthew 24:9 – “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.” Rev. 20:8

Yes - “they” shall deliver you, “they” shall kill you, and “you” shall be hated”, for your sins have cursed you

there are no words there that G-d curses either “they” or “you”

Like I said. If you don’t believe what was prophesied in the Old Testament or if you believe God goes back on His word there is no sense in us even discussing this.

like I said

I do not dispute that some things a cursed and as I said, it is usually the sin of the sinner that curses the sinner, not G-d and I asked you to provide a New Testament text that does not just refer to something that is cursed, ignoring that it does not take a direct curse from G-d for that, but says "G-d cursed/curses"; amd don't confuse & divert the subject from "G-d cursed/curses" to prophecy

God cursed the nations that come against Isreal in prophecy which is being lived out today. If you don’t understand or believe what prophecy says I can’t help you much.

So, are you saying the God of the Old Testament is different from the One of the New Testament?

G-d-Yeshua is the fulfillment of “old testament” prophecy and G-d-Yeshua did not curse anyone, not even the sinner, and said the sinner was cursed/condemned by their own sin.

G-d-Yeshua is the fulfillment of “old testament” prophecy

Yes, but G-d-Yeshua has always been (John 1:1) and, in fact, is G-d (John 10:30).

And, it is G-d who instituted the law, which defines sin.

And, it is G-d (with G-d-Yeshua obviously present) who said "I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." - Genesis 12:3, a promise that is still valid today.

And, as long as we're playing legalistic semantics, I don't think G-d-Yeshua ever blessed anyone, or said anyone was blessed, although He and the Father obviously do.

So, what does Matthew 5 say?

So, what does Matthew 5 say?

You are just parsing words - kind of like "What is the meaning of 'is'"? If your religion is based on that, I wish you well.

However, to play your game, (you assert that the NT never says “G-d cursed.....”), Matthew 5 doesn't say “G-d blessed.....”. Therefore, to use your logic, it must mean that G-d does not bless. But, we know (at least I do) from the His entire Word that YHWH does indeed bless people, and He curses them.

And, you choose to major on the minors - you haven't addressed my more important points:

- G-d-Yeshua has always been (John 1:1) and, in fact, is G-d (John 10:30).
- And, it is G-d who instituted the law, which defines sin.
- And, it is G-d (with G-d-Yeshua obviously present) who said "I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." - Genesis 12:3, a promise that is still valid today.

Finally, although the following verses do not specifically use the word "curse", they certainly convey a similar message:

- "... I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place ..." - Rev 2:5
- "... I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation ..." - Rev 2:22
- "... I will strike her children dead. ... I will give to each of you according to your works." - Rev 2:23
- "... I will spit you out of my mouth." - Rev 3:16

There are others, just like there are many in the OT and NT that convey the message of God's love, mercy, and grace. I urge you to embrace the whole counsel of God and His Word.

I keep it bookmarked. It has all the punishments of a faithless nation listed. In order..............
