TRR: Allen West Seeks Recount Amid Growing Vote Count Scandal
Washington Times ^ | November 9, 2012, 01:32PM | James S. Robbins

The race for Florida’s 18th Congressional district has taken an ugly turn, with charges of incompetence, illegal activity and possible fraud on the part of local election officials. Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy has declared victory with an apparent 160,328 votes to West's 157,872. However, serious questions arose immediately about the integrity of the vote count, especially in St. Lucie County. On election night incumbent Republican Allen West had maintained a district-wide lead of nearly 2000 votes until the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections inexplicably “recounted” thousands of early ballots, resulting in 4,400 vote shift

A physical barrier had been erected making it impossible for the observers to see what was going on. After repeated objections, the observers were allowed to stand behind the people reproducing the ballots. But then the ballot workers blocked their view. “Half of the people reproducing the ballots are crowding together,” Mr. Shapiro said, “to make it impossible for anyone to see what they are doing.” He added that “there is a sense that since they spend so much time obstructing our view they are not reproducing [the ballots] correctly.”

An elderly man who stood up to try to get a better look at the ballots was ordered to sit down. When he asked why, Elections Supervisor Susan Bucher called a sheriff’s deputy to have him escorted out of the building. Team West volunteer Ellen Snyder has also faced the wrath of the supervisory staff. “They screamed at me twice”

-snip-

“I've never experienced anything like it,” Mr. Shapiro said. He is a former Democrat and had worked on John Kerry’s 2004 campaign legal team. He noted that he was treated much better by Democratic supervisors when he was a fellow party member. But now he is being treated like an enemy.

I have suspected that this election was stolen, I think Allen West has a point and he is going to fight fight fight, we need to support him.

If Allen West can prove that the election was tampered with it would go a long way toawrds discrediting both the MSM and the Liberal Elites in power.

Pray for Allen West’s safety!

That's because he is "an enemy."

Forget it Allen. We would have been better off had the Democrats retaken the House, so they could rubber stamp Obama. It’s time to experience the left’s vision for America until it destroys us. Why preside over a sunk ship?

There was supposed to be a court hearing today. Anyone heard anything about the outcome?

I heard on the local radio talk show this afternoon (Tampa, FL) that West had now taken a 300 vote lead, but can't find anything about that report either.

I have suspected that this election was stolen...

I believe the entire presidential election of 2012 was stolen by massive, systematic Democratic [sic] party vote fraud. I believe Romney actually won. America lost.

I'm becoming more & more convinced that participating in this corrupt system, even as the patsy as the GOP is, is almost as bad as actually perpetrating the fraud.

The GOP cannot continue to pretend that nothing is wrong, or that nothing can be done. Something is very, very wrong and they are providing cover to the democrats by participating.

‘Critical questions are also being raised about the estimated 8,000 military absentee ballots, These ballots could decide the election but were only picked up on Wednesday. They are being counted in an area that is off-limits to observers, but no explanation has been given why.’

Are election observers allowed to whip out their cell phone/camera/recorder while observing? Probably not, but it would be helpful if it were allowed.

It seems every swing state but Florida went 52-47 for Obama. This smells funny to me.

Sample ballots are sent to Florida voters. PBC Supervisor of Elections Bucher produced defective sample ballots three times. She is incompetent.

She “found a way around” state rules and allowed voting on Sunday and Monday, November 4 and 5, while voters in other counties were not allowed to vote. She has corrupted the election.

Democrat counties have been given an advantage.

I think there was an article on FR earlier today, essentially saying by judge/court decision that West had no case (with the court) as of yet, that it is not up to the courts to decide elections (along that line IIRC). Possibly it was a matter of the court saying he cannot contest the results yet, since the results have not been certified yet.

Appears the RATS are replaying the Norm Coleman/Al Franken program.

Bump to Allen West and the patriots doing their best to make this fair.

Apparently his request was denied as they are supposedly still counting ballots. I’m in Texas so it’s hard to find out what is really going on but that’s what the last email I received from someone locally said. Prayers up for West.

Political affiliation trumps race.

If the situation were reversed and West were a democrat, the screams of *RACISM* would be echoing across the land, being trumpeted by the MSM from every roof top.
