OK,...next question...is....when were they dispatched...meaning when did someone decide to send them....
Actually I wasn't aware that any were sent.

((The Global Warming Hoax was a Criminal Act....where is Al Gore?))
In particular, there was at least a 19-hour gap between the time when Panetta first ordered military units to prepare to deploy between midnight and 2 a.m. local time in Tripoli and the time a Marine anti-terrorism team landed in Tripoli, which as just before 9 p.m.
A senior defense official on Friday said forces were at the ready around the globe, but it took time to assess the murky situation,
C'mon! So murky that they didn't know the difference between Tripoli and Benghazi? That Tripoli is as far from Benghazi as Sigonella?
We're supposed to believe that for almost two months, with an election going on, 0coward didn't answer accusations that he didn't do anything with this simple information?
Hey, fella, it's not raining you're peeing on me!!!

(Who is John Galt?)
We are talking about the Secretary of Defense for Gods's sake!
He should have had orders out to roll Herk's and Globemasters full of Special Ops, cooks, bakers, and straight legs before he got to the meeting with the great Won.
To paraphrase the Won; "we have things like radios now". There'd have been plenty of time to recall them after the CNC scotched the only honorable plan.

I'm not even going to try to guess on this one. To many things of sometimes contrary nature being thrown on the table.
