White House says Christie's people easier to deal with than Cuomo's people

It’s true love between the Democratic president and the Republican governor of New Jersey.

More than a week after President Obama and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie toured sections of the Jersey Shore ravaged by Superstorm Sandy, the White House remains “stunned” at how helpful Christie and his team have been and how easy it is to work with them...

“The Christie people are so much easier to deal with than the Cuomo people,” a senior administration official said, referring to Gov. Cuomo. “New York wants to do everything alone, but we’re working with Christie really well. It’s weird.”

Obama has ordered every Cabinet member — except Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — “to go up there [to New Jersey] at least once for Christie,” the source said.

When the commie gets his, people are easy to deal with.

When people allowed themselves to be used they are always easy to deal with.

it is so hard to figure why evil Republicans would put politics aside in order to make sure that people get help,

It's hard to figure how he had time in a crisis to entertain what a phone call will do! Like he would have done if it were NOT the week before election time. Time management, bad decision maker, back stabber - flaws for the easily used governor. Christie can't say 'no' to the devil or donuts!

Well the both took the test, BOTH has the same disaster and who couldn’t say ‘no’ to politician whoring around for votes?

Christie fails and he knows it - we all know it = so this article is a ‘comfort food’ for Christie. That’s a good boy, Christie, now feel better and no more crying!

Obama has always been attracted to the chunky, big butt type.

I don't now WTH is wrong with Christie.

You:Cuomo is an epic disaster.

And of course the Democrats will support Christie’s opponent in the next election, anyway, UNLESS Christie turns Rat beforehand.

Normally, I don't do this, but I'll support his opponent in the next election. I do not want Christie winning re-election and then having a bunch of pundits tell us that he's the moderate who can win for us in 2016. I want him out of the picture before then.

He's officially (and intractably) "radioactive".

Dems will not vote for him, in any significant number.

Now, GOPers would now rather vote for Peewee Herman.

As mentioned above, Chris Christie is the new Arlen Specter.

BTW, the next time Mister Christie gives a speech at which the public is allowed to be in audience, the loud chorus of "boos" one hears will all be from REPUBLICANS!

I’m talking about how he is handling this disaster. Now I can compare him to some one else with the same disaster and Cuomo didn’t take time from his duties to bow to the enemy and give him an opportunity to get elected again. That is unforgivable! Cuomo is more grown up than Christie. This is nothing about politics but how they conduct themselves, how they can fend for themselves or not and know how to use a phone when necessary or not. It’s not about like or dislike or politics.

I DO give credit when/where credit is due.

Land and water size - square miles
New Jersey 8,721.30 - the 5th smallest state.
New York 54,556.00

Population
New Jersey 8,791,894
New York 19,378,102

Compare the size of their responsibility. And who needed/wanted help? Actually, it really was obama who wanted help and they are pinning both governors saying one wanted help and the other didn’t. However, kudos to Cuomo for not entertaining the user-in-chief.

Obama has no administrative skills but beggar skills, whether it’s affirmative action or being a compaign hustler.

You don't have to sell me on Christie. I'm appalled by his love affair with Obama.

I'm just sick of seeing Cuomo on TV patting himself on the back about his response to the hurricane. I'm not really impressed. He took forever to finally allow even /odd days for gas fill ups. He poo pooed it last week. The first 10 days were hours long lines. Yesterday on the first day of rationing I was in and out in 15 minutes.

He's a real rocket scientist.

Ah, I see now you watch TV. Occasionally, I do for weather. I dislike a politician speaking about what they did. It’s their job to do whatever comes up. However in this situation if he was keeping people up to date that is different. My daughter got gas on Tues - in and out, no lines. Only taking cash, their cc machine was out of commission. It was closed due to no gas but one down further was open but about 20 cars there. Some gas stations had lines because some had no electricity and/no gas that created lines at other stations. And people needed it for their generators. Then more get panicky and join the lines to top off it off because of ‘the news’.

obama thrives with causing friction between people. This article is prime example. He thinks the other person will in return try to earn favor w/him. It is juvenile antics. He is the kiss of death. Whatever he touches, he destroys. I still say hats off to Cuomo for not allowing the maggot in. Anything that po’s the boy makes me happy. There are very few who don’t bow to him so this is a biggie in my book.

It was reported by the Asbury Park Press which is a Gannett publication. I suppose they might have provided charging stations although the article didn’t say that. It’s possible they were using what power they had left. The cops were told by the “inmates” that they were calling the Press. That’s when the trouble started.

I’m buying the paper today - there should be an update.

I’ve seen the state troopers. I didn’t know why they were in certain neighborhoods - the badly flooded ones.
