Ironically, it may have been the strength of job growth in the right to work for less states that helped President Obama get re-elected, despite his animosity to the labor laws in those states and his favoritism towards forced unionism. As we struggle to create jobs through another jobless recovery, maybe the president could be a little more open-minded in his second term towards the job-creating labor policies in the RTW states that have been creating jobs at four times the population-adjusted rate as the forced states. Wishful thinking
Hard as it is to believe, Michigan is on its way to becoming a right to work state. I give it no more than 10 years and likely less since we have union members calling for right to work.
We crushed the world's worst pro union constitutional amendment on Tuesday with only 2 counties voting in favor of it.
Proposal 2: The 'Collective Bargaining' Amendment
The counties where it passed are in yellow.

Great post - saving the article as reference - thanks for it!!
Forcing people to belong to unions is the same thing as forcing them to belong to the Communist Party.

(Government is the religion of the psychopath.)
My mom told me that she had heard the BHO was going to try/force legislation that would prevent any more states from becoming right to work. She couldn’t tell me the source, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to circumvent state’s rights to appease his union masters.
