Posted on 11/10/2012 4:05:42 PM PST by Kaslin
On Tuesday only one precinct had less than 113% turnout. The Unofficial vote count is 175,554 registered voters 247,713 vote cards cast (141.10% ). The National SEAL Museum, a St. Lucie county polling place, had 158.85% voter turn out, the highest in the county.
The Supervisor of Elections, Gertrude Walker, had this to say concerning the 141% voter turnout: They may have had something like that in Palm Beach County, but weve never seen that here.
So maybe Allen West wasnt crazy to ask for a lock-down on the ballot boxes and machines in this county. According to the report given the day after elections, Allen B. West garnered 52,625 votes in St.Lucie county and Patrick Murphy 65,896 votes.
This is a problem that must be addressed right away. There is no reason that there should ever be more than 100% turnout. This county alone could have cost Allen West his election. Voter fraud is real, and it is time that this be solved.
Specifics matter. That’s what the eligibility research that I’ve done for the last 3 years made abundantly clear to me. And now the “birthers” have been legally vindicated through HI state registrar Alvin Onaka’s confirmation that Obama’s HI BC is not legally valid and the WH image is a forgery.
The people who pooh-poohed that issue did so because they were unwilling to look at specifics and take them seriously. Seems like they’re the same people now (is deport also an anti-birther, as well as Conscience of a Conservative?) doing the same thing on this issue, unless they can come up with an explanation for the discrepancies in the numbers when their accounting method is used.
Perhaps someone that actually works for the County Elections dept, other than Ms. Walker who doesn’t seem to know, could post in some official capacity.
We all get the numbers being half, but ridiculing us for bad info on a official Govt. Web site, isn’t cool.
Again, on the 7th, WPTV had the same question with no answer but surprise from the Elections Chief.
Let DU have a field day with WPTV.
Oh, yes! Thank you. Absolutely!
What I should say, CONFIRM officially other than POSTING on here and other sites in comments.
I am still, on Saturday night, looking at a report, the latest out of that County, with the same numbers.
That is the only official confirmation. For Heaven’s sake, a confirmation that is Official that this County has different counting procedures is all I’m asking. Or explain the first two pages online officially.
Point me please to an Official from St. Lucie county saying that’s how they report their individual voters/turnout %, as # of cards. As in two cards per voter.
I’m not asking for much, really.
Just one other thought. I know this isn’t a Statistics class like I had in Engineering School, but if I turned in an analysis with numbers that didn’t match and no explanation, I wouldn’t get a good grade on that, nor would I expect it. Just saying. Lowering the bar instead of complete transparency doesn’t inspire confidence. In any profession. IMHO
Am satisfied that the Mod changed the headline to allow for a plausible explanation (unofficial). I have no problem with that.

“The first thing is to end voting for weeks leading up to an election.”
No, the first thing is long prison terms for officials committing vote fraud and jail time (read “chain gang” picking up trash along the road side while wearing a pink & chartreuse polka dot jumpsuit with a “I’m a Vote CHEAT” sign front & back) & fines for people who voted multiple times.

LOL........ I love that and if we had that things would be much different..... Great answer.
It still doesn’t add up. If 124,031 votes were counted (including undervotes and overvotes - so anybody who picked up the 2 cards they were given), that would be 246,062 cards that should have been cast.
But they claimed that 247,713 cards were cast.
No matter how you slice it, the numbers don’t add up.
Too bad voting software isn’t subject to the same rigorous quality control and stringent use guidelines as medical software.
Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties - all heavily Democrat - allowed voting on Nov 4 & 5 via in person absentee ballot.
Voting on Nov 4 & 5 was prohibited elsewhere.
Allowing voting in these counties while prohibiting it in other counties violates the Equal Protection clause of the 14th Amendment:
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall... deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws
Why were voters in other counties prohibited from voting?
The unequal application of law was done with the knowledge and approval of Florida Secretary of State Detzner.
Detzner has performed his duty in a corrupt manner.
Fla. Stat. § 104.051(3) Any official who performs his or her duty as prescribed by this election code fraudulently or corruptly is guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084
Seems like the precedent set in Bush v Gore should have something to say about that, if I’m understanding the issues in that lawsuit correctly. I’m not a lawyer either so maybe somebody can correct me if I’m wrong.
The thing that’s frustrating about this is that we were being told that Romney was prepared for legal battles over fraud, but he’s instead rolled over even though there is evidence of massive voter fraud in the swing states, as well as unequal protection issues involving military ballots and the stuff you mention.
Why is Romney not fighting this? He knew they would do the fraud thing. They always do.
I like creative sentencing. Just like that woman who drove on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus. Wearing a sign that said only an IDIOT would drive on the sidewalk to avoid a bus (something like that).
Texas is showing voter turn out DOUBLED from ‘04 to ‘12. Yes, between wacky northern libs moving south and envading illegals moving north, we gained 4 extra EV this time. Still, I don’t see how the number of voters rose so high in such a short time.
2012 = 13 to 14 million turn out (the number fluxuates at the Sec of State until it’s offical)
2008 = 8 million turn out
2004 = 7 million turn out
2000 = 6 million turn out
2000 and 2004 are probably historical high turn outs to vote for Bush.
Of course, it’s a given Texas would vote for Romney but to double the turn out is something though I don’t know what it means. That 14 million was 58% of the registered voters which iirc is about the normal percent.
No matter how you slice it, the numbers dont add up.
Registered Voters 175554 - Cards Cast 247713 141.10%
The above nuber is the 2 ballot cast or counted number. So yes it is an odd number so someone or some number of voters chose not to vote the 2nd page.
That doesn’t seem unusual to me as I’ll fequently not vote down ballot races, amendments, bonds issues or whatever they maybe ...
You are trying to divide the actual hard vote numbers by 2 and that’s not the method. That number is a hard number for all the votes counted in that race whether the number be odd or even. That will be counted only one time for each ballot whether it be 2 pages or just one page submitted for that voter.
Take care and enjoy.
Sure they do.
124,031 voters were entitled to cast a 2 card ballot or 248,062 cards.
Hundreds of voters [exactly 349] chose to vote only one card and either discarded the other or tore it up or took it home or just declined to take it. Thus:
248,062 - 349 = 247,713
She’s trying to make the 2 card counting [divided by 2] add up to the actual count for President. It doesn’t work that way when voters can omit some races, throw either portion of the ballot away or leave it blank.
But the hard count for a particular race is the actual number counted by the machines during the process. That number has nothing to do with the 2nd portion of the ballot that is being counted.
One good thing they get to do tomorrow, is recount early votes, wish it was all, but get perhaps, keen insight into Dem county elections? If only they could do that in Philly districts where they threw out the Repub poll watchers.
Open, Transparent, Legal, and Fair. What we all wish for and should expect no less.
BTW, no email from any of the stations again that reported. Just like last month. (didn’t really expect an answer, as i posted on their facebooks and nada either)
Sadly, even medical software has problems, such as malfunctioning pacemakers and radiation therapy machines that severely overdose patients. A better analogy perhaps is that every vote should be accounted for in the same way that retailers and banks track every dollar that comes in, with video backup to catch errors and thieves.
Oh and the 5 or 600 articles about why Romney/GOP lost here are the solutions.....
1)Broaden the base (Hispanic/African American/Minority)
2)Pick a strong third party candidate
We should have had a third party candidate (Gingrich? with Romney independent/worst case scenario for the country because all three choices are horrible). If we could find a three way race where no one takes 270 votes the house would have decided. The house being republican would have elected Gingrich/Romney)
I love the theory of embracing the African American/Hispanic vote and letting them know how convervative views are better but we’ve reached a point where the majority will always vote for government entitlements. We need a split vote in 2016 not an embrace. Otherwise....start a new party.
We love checks and balances for the legislative, judicial, and executive branch. It’s time for the American people to swallow a pill and have checks and balances. Congress needs to decide the next President because the divided Americans are not able to choose a proper path.
Theres my one and only 2012 post election rant
