“They can denigrate this state all they want,” South said. “But the future of America is what you’re seeing right now, laid out in California.”

Not much a future, then....

That argument may not work since all they'll say is that California is not only the 9th largest economy in the world (were it an independent country), but that it has the highest GDP of any state in the US.

They won't be able to say that for long. Everybody that made that happen is streaming into Arizona, Nevada, and Texas.

At some point your inventory is just an indication of how long it will take to loot the place.

Jonah Goldberg slices this differently from the democrats: This was a family vs. government election. Families overwhelmingly broke for Romney. What is really going on is the government's war on families to create a larger constituency for itself. It has just been more successful with people who identify themselves by the color of their skin.

Exactly. The reason why we oppose leftist government isn’t to punish anyone, it’s because it will lead to disaster. (”Don’t vote for revenge, vote because you love your country.”)

California is my native state. My ancestors since the Gold Rush are buried there. I left it long ago and I am sad at what has happened to it.

This article is simply a case of whistling past the graveyard.

We’ve been fighting Democrat Santa Clause government since The Great Society programs started, then the teacher’s union for decades has brainwashed the kids.
We have been rotted out from the inside.

Have you given that any more thought?

It would take a little over 1% of our populace moving back into California to flip the state into our column again.

Once that was done, our nation would be vastly improved.

It’s my take we need to be looking for fixes to California, because we have a number of places in the U. S. that have become like California. If we can’t fix California, we’re not going to fix them either.
