The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 53% of Likely Voters at least somewhat approve of President Obama's job performance. Forty-five percent (45%) at least somewhat disapprove

That is the president’s highest job approval rating since July 2009 (see trends).

Ninety-three percent (93%) of Democrats approve while 88% of Republicans disapprove. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 45% approve and 50% disapprove.

Results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update).

Check out our review of last week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.”

Forty-five percent (45%) of Americans are confident in the stability of the banking system.

Most voters want Republicans in Congress to work with President Obama but eight out of ten Republicans disagree. They also think it's more important for Republicans in Congress to stand up for what they believe in rather than compromising. The data shows that the president is not the only one who will face challenges from the Republican base. Most GOP voters believe their representatives in Congress are out of touch with the party base.

Pravda on the Potomac issuing another public decree from the ‘ministry of truth’? And all the 1/2 morons in America shout ‘hail barry’.

RAS is now salt in the wound, reminding us daily how many Manchurian Americans favor Godlessness and Obama.

Who needs it? The cliff was reached on Nov 6. We are observers to a spiral downward, soon to be political victims of decline and collapse.

Thanks for the ride, Scott.

This must be the only country in the world where if everything you touch turns into a scrambled, confused mess, 53% of the people think you are doing a good job.

Oh BS. What is wrong with some of you people that you say such stupid stuff.

Rasmussen is not being paid off or threatened. In fact, he was one of only a couple pollsters that had Romney leading Obama every so slightly going into the election. If anything, we found Rasmussen's numbers favored Republicans. Unfortunately, it is quite possible this 53% approval rating is too low and that Hussein's approval is actually a bit higher. Goodness gracious the guy just won an election, ofcourse his approval is going to go up some.

Geeze, stop with the stupid conspiracy theories, the silly ideas that polls can be unskewed, etc, etc. That is dopey stuff Democrats usually do when they lose. I've got to believe we are better than that.

It isn’t too low. Rasmussen said after the election that he re-weighted the poll from 74% whites to 72% whites. Too many whites in the polls were why he was off.

Obama is always more popular when he isn’t around and isn’t doing anything.

I don't see how what Longbow1969 wrote makes him a liberal or how it infringes upon free speech.
It's not surprising that winning an election causes a bump in approval. As someone else posted, it is temporary euphoria.
Yes, we know Obama's record is dismal, but that doesn't really matter to the American Idol voters that put him in office. They see that he won and say "oooooh!"
