Nov 9, 2012 Officials Allowed Usher to Skip Voting Line

Who knew “My Way” translated to the voting booth? Usher upset more than a few Georgia voters when he bypassed long waits at the polls Tuesday, and election officials are defending their decision to let the R&B singer cut the line.

Fulton County election officials told ABC News affiliate WSB-TV that Usher (full name: Usher Raymond IV) was escorted to the front of the line at his Roswell, Ga. polling place to minimize distractions. They said that after Usher’s team notified them of the singer’s intent to vote in person, they dispatched a poll manager to move him “through the process as expeditiously as possible.”

They added, “At no point was this decision made for preferential treatment, but to minimize and avoid a distraction at the poll.”

But they left Usher with enough wiggle room to snap and tweet a few photos of himself voting, further infuriating people behind him.

If Kid Rock tried doing this in Cleveland or Chicago a major riot would have broken out with scores dead.

Of course.

When the famous/connected yada go to Disney or any other place that regular folk go—they always get moved through the lines.

They don’t live in our world. That is part of the reason they don’t mind all the legislation, it doesn’t apply to them.

It is for the good of the little people and making their conscience feel better. They don’t live this cr*p.

Let them go and live in the countries whose beliefs they support. They won’t because they are cowards and to risky for them.

This is your future: when Obamacare is up & running the elite will be passing us by as they go to “special” hospitals while we sit an wait in some cesspool for care with the 30 mllion new citizens from the third world who the Republicans & Democrats let in.

My post sounded like I don’t like wealth—it is not that.

It is anger at these famous fools who think this Obamacare chit is so good—eeeevvveryone will have healthcare now!

Yeah right, they will never sit in the rooms with us or wait forever with us. It has nothing to do with them.

It has everything to do with causing work hours to be cut for the little guy making them even more poor. It causes the middle class to be pulled down. Now the middle class and the poor can all sit in misery together.

This healthcare brings nobody up, it brings people down. Well, except for the beautiful people. The famous can have their parties, maybe some pretend charity, sip wine, champagne and feel good about themselves as they talk of all the good they have done.

Heck, maybe JayZ can come up with a new line of shirts in addition to his Occupy Wall Street T-shirt. These people are a freakin’ joke.

That’s the deal, I don’t think they have any beliefs beyond what feeds their ego. And thinking they are doing so much good for all the little people feeds their hungry ego. They don’t have a clue.

As crazy as it sounds I am starting to wonder if we shouldn’t tell the democrats—go ahead and tax those rich people—tax them as good as France plans to!

Let’s see how long they love the democrats then. Attitudes would change. Freedom and the constitution will start to look REAL good.

Too many can skirt this legislation nightmare as it now stands, when the laws apply to them, too—then maybe there is a chance.

Maybe it is just my anger that is ruling me now....I don’t know. I’m very frustrated.

The problem is that these “little people” and millions of them depend on food stamps, they empty their wallets for a Madonna rock concert, watch Eva Longoria in “Desperate Housewives,” have a cult-like following of Oprah, and so they don’t mind the irony that that their idols live in $75m mansions in Santa Barbara (Oprah) while they feed on the free distributions of government largesse. This is why the nation is now beyond repair.

You got that right. Like all those who supported obamacare but sought and got exemptions for themselves and theirs from it (such as unions, congressional staff, etc). Or they support tax raises for “the rich”, while being so rich themselves that they live in another universe, where “the rich” at their level have no loyalty to any country but are global cotizens, “cosmopolitan”, and able through their wealth to move their money and assets around in order to avoid taxes and regulations. I don’t envy anyone their wealth, I resent that they use it to make laws that the rest of us are forced to obey while they use their wealth to avoid them.

Which leads me to the question, WHY do they want to enforce legislation on the rest of us that they will never have to subject themselves to? I know why the entertainment airhead morons do it-because it’s the cheapest, easiest route to their own sense of moral superiority, while they never have to exercise any self-control or discipline in their own lives. I’d like to know why the truly powerful do it-those who don’t have their names in the headlines.

Some people are just more equal than others.
And still others just have a big mouth.
Usher? What kind of a name is that? Should be called Ulcer.

Not only that, but everywhere they go they’re showered with lavish gift baskets, gourmet food, perks, awards, etc. Giving free stuff to millionaires sure makes sense, doesn’t it? Some of them (see Paris Hilton, the Kardashians, any random rapper, etc) are even PAID to attend parties!! I’ve been a bodyguard to dozens of them and it would blow your mind just to see it.

It is sickening but I guess I can understand it from a companies point of view. It doesn’t say much about our society though.

Times past samples seemed much more plentiful. I bet mailing out samples costs much more than giving samples to celebrities.

Many are now so enamored with celebrities that they worship and want to be just like them.

If a celebrity takes a liking to a sample product, it is great advertising for the product and it didn’t cost the company too much at all.

I think the trick is, is to try and divert all the celebrity worship to God. How that is done, I don’t know for sure.
