Israel will not hesitate to launch a major IDF operation against Gaza-based terrorist factions if necessary, Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned on Sunday—after some 100 rockets hit southern Israel in 24 hours.

Rockets wounded three people in Sderot during a barrage fired to coincide with the morning commute to work. One man was moderately wounded in his car by shrapnel and flying glass. …

Later in the day, a Palestinian rocket scored a direct hit on a Sderot factory. Sderot is too close to the Gaza Strip for the Iron Dome anti-rocket shield to work effectively over it. In the evening, two homes, one in Sderot and another in the Eshkol region, also sustained direct rocket strikes, causing damages, but no injuries. At press time, the rockets and the mortar shells were still coming. Barak blamed Hamas for the attacks. …

Ehud Barak has morphed into a liberal.

But even Netanyahu is ready to divide Israel.

We are living in ... interesting times.

Who could forget Condi saying “birth pangs of a new Middle East” as they tried to divide Israel?

Half the world held off until the evil one was re-elected, uh, re-instated. Flexibility.

100 rockets hit in 24 hours and Israel says we will not hesitate if necessary?

How many rockets make it a necessity?

Israel should just line up D-9s tread to tread and
push Gaza into Egypt. Fill up the Suez Canal.

I’m ready for a little disproportionate response.

Everytime a rocket hits Israel from Gaza, Israle should hit the dome of the rock with one.

It makes no sense. I would say that it’s way past time to go medieval against the scumzies.

Surely Israel has enough extra ordinance to level a few square miles of the launching zones.

This is why the field artillery invented counter battery fire. As soon as the enemy fires, an artillery round is on the way, with a heck of a lot more accuracy. If you have high altitude reconnaissance, which the Israelis do, you can even fire before they do, when they are setting up.

And you can also light up the guys that are sending the dummy out to launch the rocket, which takes all the fun out of it.

Israel needs to stop rattling their saber and just use it! Of course, Obamster-backed UN sactions would be sure to follow. Rock and a hard place.

We have it hard--Think how much worse the Israelis have it.

It seems like that if this policy were to be adopted, it would only take so long before the moslem dirtbags ran out of...well..."launching zones".

The UN should have gone into nonexistence the moment they appointed a Nazi as their secretary general. But we didn’t do that, did we.

Americans ought to stop waiting for Israel to do what we should have done decades ago.
